Not much. Violence is quite low in India overall. I think only the western European countries and east Asians beat us in that category.

The way I see it, a woman is never safe in a conservative society. So the mindset of the whole country needs to be changed. It would need at least a couple of decades. Till then, we would probably have to create safe zones. Some conservative countries deal with this by locking up their women in the houses. We don't do this.

Posting murder videos online is much more common in plenty of other countries. Brazil, Venezuela, other Latin countries, terrorism afflicted countries and the like...
In India, you can be assured of action if you post your face online.
