Be prepared to deal with terror, Hindus urged

Why should social discontent rise if an individual changes his religion? What is social about this phenomenon? Which busybody makes it his business to feel offended about somebody else's private and personal decision?

Do you have any idea about what secularism means? And do you have any idea about what compelling someone to continue to pretend to loyalty to a faith system that she or he no longer believes in amounts to?

Secularism is a dirty word. It was invented by non-Hindus like Nehru to destroy Hindus. India is a nation of the followers of Dharmic Tradition, everyone else is a foreigner.

obviously you have never lived in a place where you are religious minority. Then its your only hope to survive and prosper.
This applies to any religion that you might belong to.

Self Preservation is the natural right and in Graham Staines case people used their right.
How many Hindus died in Kashmir because they were Hindus? I guess NONE. That is what secular media reports. Similarly no Hindu died in Nagaland and Tripura.

Graham Staines, and most Christian missionaries, used no force.

What self-preservation are you talking about?

What do Hindus in Kashmir have to do with Christian extremism? Why are you now talking about the victims of Muslim extremism when you are challenged about Christian extremism?

And how, from that false example, where no Christians were involved, do you justify your totally baseless story about Nagaland and Tripura? Particularly, how do you pretend that Hindus died in Nagaland because they were not Christians, rather than being killed because they were Indians, and the target of Naga separatists?

Well ,be prepared is the call, so be prepared.build your stockpiles and get the necessary knowledge and training needed. If nothing happens then all good, If shite hits the fan, then you will appreciate the preparation you did in peacetime, while others will be looking for police security which wont come on time in most cases.
"Prepare for the worst and expect the best".
With the advent of internet, everything can be learned.

"In the case on hand, though Graham Staines and his two minor sons were burnt to death while they were sleeping inside a station wagon at Manoharpur, the intention was to teach a lesson to Graham Staines about his religious activities, namely, converting poor tribals to Christianity," the court said. The Court stated "Our concept of secularism is that the State will have no religion. The State shall treat all religions and religious groups equally and with equal respect without in any manner interfering with their individual right of religion, faith and worship." Yet, while condemning (even voluntary) religious conversions, the Court also said "It is undisputed that there is no justification for interfering in someone`s belief by way of `use of force`, provocation, conversion, incitement or upon a flawed premise that one religion is better than the other".[15] Dismissing the Central Bureau of Investigation's plea for death penalty to Singh, a Bench of Mr Justice P Sathasivam and Mr Justice BS Chauhan endorsed the Orissa High Court's finding that his crime did not fall under the rarest of rare category. In its 76-page judgement, the court came out strongly against the practice of conversion. However, four days later, on 25 January 2011, the Supreme Court of India in a rare move expunged its own comments with regards to conversions from its Verdict

Are you saying that the Staines were conducting forcible conversions? Are you even aware of why they were killed?

You didn't answer my question about Christian extremists.

But I'll answer your question about what I was expecting when missionaries preach their religion, and try to persuade people to change to it, an activity that is entirely permissible under the Indian Constitution.
This is where the problem arises my friend. Just because the law allows, the missionaries try to take advantage of it and resort to forcible conversions, luring with money etc.

BTW...check this out.
Conversion not a constitutional right: SC judge
Maintaining that there was no constitutional right to convert a person from one religion to another, justice P Sathasivan of the Supreme Court on Saturday said the right to propagate one’s religion was not an unrestricted right.

Mr. @Joe Shearer, please take your holier than thou attitude somewhere else.
And congratulations on picking out just one point about christian extremists now tell me do you have any answer for all the other things I said?

then i say you are dead wrong...not every minority is as peaceful as you make it sound like especially religious one.

Before going personal, Could you please tell me the reason why Staines was killed?

He was killed because he was vulnerable. Ironically, his work consisted of treatment of lepers, although he was an active Christian in his personal life.

That part of Orissa had seen, and still sees, considerable missionary activity. Conversion was not the only cause for resentment of the Christian activists. They were also accused of truly dangerous causes of social discontent such as distributing brassieres to tribal women, as well as sanitary towels. That, to some of the creeps who are posting here, amounts to forcible conversion and to fanning social discontent. How primitive is their mind? Right wing Hindu organisations were increasingly alarmed and resentful of instances of conversion, and this was their way of hitting back.

For your information, among Staines' activities was the teaching of healed lepers how to make mats and baskets out of natural produce.

What is most astonishing about people like him is that they explicitly use the liberal attitude of Hindu society against itself.
If he were to criticize even the conservatives in Pak (not Islam BTW) he would get the "salmaan Taseer" treatment.

Yes and we know how the Kudankulam protest was to "save the environment" and "secure local rights".:rofl:

Ah, one of those who can dish it out but can't take it, eh?

Too bad.

You will continue to be chastised as long as you deserve to be chastised.

When was the last time an Iranian or Iraqi Terrorist attacked India....

what has that got to do with secularism. Its about religion not influencing state otherwise follower of majority religion will dominate in ruling over minority.
I am talking about democratic countries of course.
Take the case of Iraq, which is currently in soup because shias simply will not share power or resources with sunnis and try to subjugate them.

btw dont you think same hindus will wish there was secularism in pakistan so that law could protect hindus better?
