Your PPP per capita , wealth per capita is way behind . Your middle class as % is also lesser than ours . you should probably read more about economy as its growing at 5.3 % for 2016 .

As for corrupt politicans well you shouldn't be talking about that because Bangaldesh was at one point ranked the most corrupt country in the world . It still is way more corrupt than Pakistan in corruption rankings . Meanwhile your corruption score is stagnant we have been constantly improving our score .

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corruption_Perceptions_Index#2016

Pakistan ranked 116 while BD is at 145 .

Do you understand GDP/capita?
Pakistan has 2% populatin growth and so 5% GDP growth is 3% GDP/capita growth.
BD has 1% population growth and so it's 7% GDP growth is 6% GDP/capita growth.
When measuring how a country's population is becoming wealthier we need look at GDP/capita growth and not GDP growth.

As for the quality of politicians between Pakistan and BD, Pakistani politicians delivered 3.5% GDP capita growth rate during the 1980s(best since independence) to it's people while BD politicians delivered 5% last decade and 6% so far this decade. So which country has the better politicians here? At the end of the day all that matters is the economy and everything else flows from that.

I do wish Pakistan luck but am not that hopeful as it's economic has not grown really fast since 1947. Too many people are pinning all their hopes on CPEC. CPEC will build Pakistan's infrastructure but other things like law and order, education and sound economic policies need to be put in place and this will be challenging to implement in Pakistan.

See the above dude, West Pakistan had less population than BD and still was getting more than twice the spending. Tell me one country in the world where this happens?
For any successful federation to survive, usually richer federating unit transfer resource to the poorer federating unit.Like USA give massive amount of resource as a federal transfer to the poorer states like Mississippi, Louisiana etc.Or India give central grant to the poor Bihar, Uttar Pradesh by collecting resource from relatively richer southern and western Indian states.Main reason for this is to minimize the economic imbalance and preserve the national cohesion. But In Pakistan,it was the opposite, it was a criminal economic policy in which poorest province(East Pakistan) was transferring resource to the richer one(West Pakistan) thus increasing gap between that two region year after year.We were fortunate to break free from that criminal regime relatively early. But others are not so fortunate. Now, same drama of regional discrimination and favoritism is being played out within the former West Pakistan. This time it is Lahore+Northern Punjab vs Rest.

Injustice of the Government, Lahore eats up the budget of 35 districts of Punjab

Imagine our condition if we were still living under this criminal bondage! We would have been the most down-trodden people in the world.

The day you cross in per capita terms both in PPP and nominal tag me . Until that happens hold your horses . As for infrastructure is that even comparable ? Our infrastructure is a good 15-20 years ahead of yours . We already have a world class expressway system comparable to the west , will have a International standard airport by august and an orange line this year . Meanwhile you remain happy with your 2 lane systems and keep on talking about how bangladesh will build this and that . you should check out the logistics Index .

LOL why these guys Compare latest GDP Nominal & GDP per Capita of Bangladesh with GDP Nominal & GDP per Capita of Pakistan???

i remember a thread where Bangali were comparing that Bangladesh has $206 Billion GDP Nominal while Pakistan has $244 Billion we will surpass Pakistan is some years :yahoo::yahoo:

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

Good for Bangladesh. Just because Pakistan's economy has been stagnant (thanks to no one buy ourselves) doesn't mean other countries shouldn't grow. Wish them the best and hope they continue to prosper.

KP is outperforming Punjab in alot of departments . PTI is delivering there and is fast catching up with Punjab in terms of development and infrastructure .

http://www.newsmedialive.com/pildat-survey-kp-punjab-score-points-quality-governance/

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Ties with Punjab for First Position in Quality of Governance at 68%; Sindh Ranks Second at 59% and Balochistan Comes in Last at 58%; PILDAT Releases Provincial Score Cards on Quality of Governance for 2014-2015

Tourism , Police , Health Reforms are another initiative where KP is performing better than Punjab .

What is bizarre is that some Pakistanis cannot
admit this. Just say it happened and then everyone can move on.

Not at all. Nothing is forever. Bangladesh has been growing since 1996 in a stable environment. Pakistan has been suffering the imposed American WOT since 2001. We began our economic reform journey this year. The fruits of which will take at least 10 years to see.

Saying that former Pakistani military commanders and politicians ( who are now deceased) are upset at the rise of bangladesh is like saying that they are also upset at the rise of the economies of Germany or Brazil. Both are ahead of Pakistan and both are as distant to the Pakistani people and nation as the bangladeshis are. That is a fact.

Anyways, good luck to bangladesh. Well done! Now try beating your brothers that are West if you of whom you share the most in common with.

The way you talk shows your jealousy and that you don't have a clean heart. Stop talking like you have a chip on your shoulder.

You are mixing up Greater/Towns . If you google Dhaka area it shows 250 Sq km . If you do the same for Karachi it shows 3500 sq km . The towns in Karachi are not suburbs they are an actual part of the city of Karachi . Its not like Greater London where you also include luton . All 14 towns constitute of what we know as Karachi city today is within the vicinity of Karachi . There is no use of greater Karachi there because all those towns are within the city area unlike Greater Dhaka where the towns in it are not part of the city . For example

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gulshan_Town

Gulshan Town (Urdu: گلشنSindhi: گلشن ‎) is one of the towns in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. The town is bordered by Gadap Town to the north, the Faisal and Malir Cantonments to the east, Jamshed Town to the southwest, and Gulberg and Liaquatabad to the west .

Notice the word ONE of the towns of Karachi . Its not a suburb or surrounding area like greater Dhaka .

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greater_Dhaka

Greater Dhaka is the conurbation surrounding the Bangladeshi capital city of Dhaka . Notice the word surrounding . the towns/districts are in the city and not surrounding conurbations like Luton is to London or Potsdam is to Berlin .

Different criteria were used to calculate different city's area. For Dhaka it only shows the core metropolitan area. For Karachi, the entire district, not only the actual build-up city limit.Karachi district include a lot of surrounding desert areas.See the huge 3 sub district of Karachi in north east and west and the core small sub-districts in the middle. Those large 3 areas are mostly undeveloped areas/desert, that's why they are so gigantic.Very typical for any administrative division of an areas which have both densely populated and desolate areas.PC screen would not allow it,otherwise I would have shown you the vast desert areas within Karachi district surrounding the core build-up areas(396 s. km) by high resolution satellite image.

@Khan_21 Karachi high rises should be built closer to each other which can give it a more Manhattan type look. Karachi definitely look beautiful but the high rises are scattered all over which give chance to du ff 3rs to talk nonsense taught to them in their propaganda schools.

Bro Can you give me the IMF link please?

Karachi has more highrise buildings than Dhaka .

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_tallest_buildings_in_Karachi

15 Buildings above 100 Metres in Karachi

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_tallest_buildings_in_Dhaka

Only 5 in Dhaka

These lists in wikipedia are incomplete.

Much better Roads/Infrastructure contribute to the relatively better looking cities on our side . I don't think there is any equal in BD for Islamabad (which is almost first world by any indicator ) or Lahore . Karachi/Dhaka comparison can be made but Karachi will come out on top in aesthetics .

You seem to be confused over the definition of a major city. For example, google Naypyitaw, the new capital of Burma. That city has far better infrastructure than Islamabad but yet it couldn't be termed as a 'major city'. It's the economic activities that makes a city big. Just google images or videos of Karachi/Lahore and Chittagong/Dhaka, you will see only empty roads in the former while bustling roads in the latter, shows the difference of economic activities between the two groups. Chittagong handles foreign trade worth around US$80 billion, I don't think any Pakistani city would come near to that.
