the figures of 5 million/6 million that is being quoted by Hefajot activists, is, if true, one of the largest gatherings in human history. Anyway, what are they going to do ? It's very hard to control a crowd like this for H-e-I leaders. If they (HeI leaders) try negotiating with the Govt then it's very likely that hardliners will sideline them. If they don't talk with the Govt, then, well, blockade will continue.

But remember, the Govt can't afford its capital to be blockaded for weeks on end. that's simply absurd.

I don't see this ending well. In fact it will perhaps be a bloodbath. Hope it doesn't happen but then Savar showed us how precious is the life of common people in Bangladesh (and in entire south asia to be fair).
