Hey speak for yourself. West Bengal's muslims are as Indians as west Bengal's hindus. If any such case occurred where a West Bengali muslim is taken as Bangladeshi our state govt will fight tooth and nail for him.

An Uttarakhand BJP leader has submitted a written complaint to police against writer Arundhati Roy for her recent remarks on Kashmir.

The complaint was submitted with Mallital police station on Wednesday by Pushkar Singh Dhami, vice chairman of state urban development monitoring board and a BJP leader.

Inspector in-charge of police station BS Dhoni said that the police is seeking legal opinion on the application before initiating the investigations.

At a convention on 羨zadi ・The Only Way・in the capital last week, the 49-year-old Booker Prize winning author had said, 銭ashmir has never been an integral part of India. It is a historical fact. Even the Indian government has accepted this.・

What Arundhati Roy says is true and is based on history. Kashmir is certainly not an integral part of India. The same thing was said by Shaikh Omar Abdullah of Kashmir. But, why Arundhati Roy? Why not the Indian govt file a case against Bangladesh because its opposition Party has criticized India on Kashmir issue! Wonder, which court will accept the petition.

China-Tibet is a different issue.

Quite Right Sir , Tibet issue is different because it is a peaceful movement , India hasn't set terrorist camps to train Tibetans to kill innocent Chinese.

I forecast one future prospect. Whatever may be the status now, Kashmir will break out of your gold cage whenever its number of population reach a certain level.

When insurgency was at its peak in Punjab many predicted things like this. But we managed and now Bond between Punjab and rest of Indian states is as strong as it can get. No one thought India would survive given our huge cultural and religious diversity But we very well Managed. We Indian are very resilient ,we have survived many ordeal and i am quite sure with our good work we would win over the hearts
of kashmiris and not only this we would wrest rest of kashmir from Pakistan , just as we helped you get rid of Pakistan's tyranny.

SAARC should take up the issue of Kashmir and seek an immediate plebiscite for independence since the people of the province must officially accept the accession to India which they have never done. If it had been a merger with India then no plebiscite would be required.

First of all SAARC cannot even get a proper free trade agreement and you are expecting it to solve the Kashmir issue. Forget about SAARC even UN is not able to force a plebiscite. People who talk about plebiscite must educate themselves on the preconditions to plebiscite in the UN resolution (Withdrawal of Pakistan from P O K)
