Bangladesh Plans to Buy 24 Russian Jet Trainers

reply of first point..

i'm not implying anything..i'm just asking.actually, most of the countries keep Advanced trainer jets in a proportion of 1:4,1:5,1:6 with fighter jets..thats what i'm saying..by the way,how many new aircrafts BD is purchasing??somewhere I read that they wants to buy Su-27(not sure though)anyway, good decision..

reply of 2nd point..

I doubt it can be used as light attack jet as Yak-131(the version of Yak-130 going to be used as light attack jet) failed..read this..

Russia to Field New Ground Attack Jet | Defense | RIA Novosti

and for the 3rd point..

don't understand why you stated that..elaborate please..

This 24 yak-130 are not being purchased in contrast with F-7BG1, or the existing 8 Mig-29. They are meant to train the pilots of the 32-48 proposed 4.5 gen fighter aircraft. The aircraft under consideration are Mig-29SMT/Mig-29M or Su-27SM3/Su-30MK*. Considering you ratio its 1:4 or 1:6.

The YAK-130 is well capable and tested as light attack role as well. The YAK-131 was a single pilot Attack aircraft design where as YAK-130 is already developed aircraft.
