Bangladesh on right track of economic success: Experts .

There were more development in 24 years of flood prone Bangladesh as East Pakistan than first 24 years of Bangladesh as an independent country.

Simple thing is you guys are too effing obsessed with Pak that you see us everywhere even when some Yankee says something about BD, you blame Pak for it.

No export industry after 1971 as jute lost it's values by then.
War damage - deliberate killing of intellectuals and destruction of infrastructure.
BD was not given a single dollar from Pakistan reserves when it broke away.

Look at BD now with a per capita GDP growing at 6% a year - this compared to average 3.5% per capita GDP growth in Pakistan in the 1980s(best decade) when it received billions of dollars in military and economic help from US due to Soviet Invasion of Afgahnistan.

Well when it was plagued with military dictatorship right after independence, you can’t expect much.

My people for the most part, hate you guys... regardless of what you did or didn’t do. I however am a realist and I don’t hate those who had no hands in evil deeds

One eXtremely important point we tend to overlook is the persistent & increasing various internal Market Failures; the likes of monopolies and oligopolies. The class of Lower middle and poor are getting marginalized at a tremendous rate. And all of it can be seen in the decreasing rate of job creation as a whole and the falling Median real income since 2010. The Pie is surely getting Bigger but the Crumbs are getting smaller and fewer at the same time.
