Google "Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission".
On the other hand, in Indian electronics sector, the market is all dominated by the foreign brands while the market share of Indian brands is declining
The trends in other simpler industries (say automobile production) is that the market share of Bangladeshi manufacturing brands is increasing every year.
I read she graduated in 73 or 74.Her date of birth is 1947年9月28日 (70歳). She was already 34 years old in 1981, when, she claims, was a student of Dhaka University. Is it true or the report itself made a printing mistake? Could the year be 1971? Dr. Wazed Ali Mia, her husband wrote she is muddle-headed and received her B.A degree with grace marks.
Say, what happened to india's research regarding thorium based reactors? You realize that it'll take decades, don't you ?

Location for first AHWR has been selected, construction might start soon.
BD should also count its progress from 1947. Do you guys think, there was no development since 1947? The reality is there were more development works during the 24 years after 1947 than it was during the first 24 years after 1971. Do not please falsify the history of development. Unlike politicians, common people should be righteous minded. You cannot compare a country 8 times larger in population and 24 extra years head-start in development with BD.

While in the electronics home appliances sector, the local brands have a market share of over 70%.
On the other hand, in Indian electronics sector, the market is all dominated by the foreign brands while the market share of Indian brands is declining as we speak.
Actual production is marginal to begin with. It's like saying you are getting few more crumbs over time, its still crumbs. BD "domestic brands ruling the roost = STRONK" is literally like what India was doing before the 90s.....because again the industry is crumb-sized to begin with w.r.t population.
Your govt is severly incompetent in these simpler industries, onus is on you lot to put pressure on that rather than waste time in internet forums:

Again it only really matters as to the scale of production taking place and revenues generated in India, taxed in India....and the long term stabilisation of the competition brand origin -wise takes place around that.
How much capital account external flow (because of foreign ownership etc) happens relative to the gross revenue/production/investment generated? Im curious to see if you can guess an accurate percentage on that.
You clearly have a huge deficit of reasoning ability.
I was arguing that we should start funding some nuclear research programs but you pointed out our incompetency in other 'simpler' industries.
My argument of comparing the market share of local brands of Bangladesh and India in the electronics sector was to point out the quality of our local products and its capability to compete against the global brands, something that is absent among the Indian brands. This proves that we are doing pretty fine in those 'simpler' industries.
Total revenue generation has nothing to do here and since India has a bigger population, it's bound to have a bigger market size. Foreign brands don't only enter to cater to the local market but also to seek export opportunities. In any case, our market size is quite similar to Vietnam which has production facilities of almost all the global electronics brands.
India before 1990s is even more irrelevant here. We never had that sort of protectionism and there has never been any bar on the foreign brands to enter the market. And there is no absence of any major global consumer electronics brands in Bangladesh.
The refrigerator market size (units) of:
Bangladesh : 1.1 million (2013) (32.9% annual growth)
India : 9 million (2016)
Vietnam : 1.1 million (2013)
Quoting and comparing Bosch to some BD ABC govt STRONK group.....my argument is just solidified more. LOL
Nice job exporting 59,000 USD worth of refrigerators BTW after all those threads and hours/days of discussion among yourselves:

"Export opportunities" "WALTON STRONK"
@Aung Zaya
Lol, I was expecting this "Bangladesh govt. stats are bullshit" reply from you.
Exports! Oh how relevant when we are talking about domestic market share!
Man, I expected much better from you when I just challenged your reasoning ability but you just proved to be a wet kitten, even seeking for help!
