Out of 10 first track mega project now under implementation, only 1 in Dhaka(Metrorail). So how can you say that all major development project happen within 10-20 square miles of Dhaka? Dhaka actually get little portion from development budget.

Scandinavian countries and the USA are in a different league. We do not have to become like one of them. But, we would love to surpass at least one country that has tormented, betrayed and back-stabbed us. No - the point is that this sort of barbarism is being tolerated in Pakistani society and not discouraged, the dad did not get punished. The Pakistani govt. does not even have the balls to stand up for women's rights. Even the mom was okay with her daughter's killing at the hands of her father, repeating 'honour' etc. and resigned herself to fate, such is the second class status of women in Pakistan. These people can be first class gandoos (being uneducated idiots), but civil society exists for a reason, to teach people better choices.

When people can kill their own offspring (mostly women) over making own choice of love/spouse, what other humanity can be expected from them??
