60 % of JF -17 is made in Kamra .

http://thediplomat.com/2016/05/two-seat-variant-of-china-pakistan-jf-17-fighter-jet-to-fly-in-2016/

Pakistan purportedly has the capacity to assemble up to 25 aircraft per year without Chinese assistance. As I reported previously, Pakistan produces 58 percent of the airframe and China 42 percent respectively. The chief of air staff, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman, said this year in April that Pakistan intends to build a total of 24 fighter jets in 2016.

Pakistan cannot produce engine, radar or missiles for JF-17 without assistance from China.

Don't get me wrong, Pakistan is right to pursue Jf-17 programme but please do not claim this is evidence that Pakistan
can produce a 4th generation fighter plane by itself. The only countries that currently have this capability are US, UK, France, Russia and China.

Dude - you need to think in a more holistic sense and not strictly in terms of a narrow vision of what has happened in the past and current procurements.

Pakistan has always had a military advantage over BD as it started off as the ruler of the former Pakistan in 1947. A lot of the infrastructure in current Pakistan and it's military was built using BD resources - no need to write an essay on this but without the resources of BD, Pakistan would not been able to develop the way it did from 1947-1971.

From 1971 till around the year 1990, BD was suffering from the exploitation of Pakistan during 1947-1971 and also needed the time to build up it's economy like the garments industry.

If you look at the average GDP/capita growth rate from 1990-2015, then you will see that Pakistan has managed around 2% while BD has done 4%. This is clear where the two economies are heading. You may say that Pakistan has had terrorism issues over the last decade but remember that the US pumped in money and debt forgiveness to Pakistan to ameliorate some of this and BD has one of the worst infrastructure in the whole of S. Asia, which is being rectified as we speak. No less than IMF predicts this advantage to continue over the next 5 years.

BD is not buying much stuff as it is now aiming for high quality rather than quantity like Myanmar. 44 Chinese MBT-2000s were brought and the army did not like them and so the MBT-3000 is now being considered. Myanmar just likes to buy anything it can get it's hands on in bulk.

I am not trying to put down the JF-17 but it is not in the class of a fighter like the Mig-35/SU-30 which BD air-force is likely to get over the next 5 years. Never mind that JF-17s would not hold a candle to anything like the J-31 which is a candidate for purchase next decade to really give teeth to BD airforce.

:D :D seems you got emotional, don't worry i'll clear everything for you

Let me start with our resources. Pakistan never used your resources in fact you guys lived on Pakistan resources. Read history first.

Secondly JF-17 is a newbie in town but still it is pretty much comparable to other fighters/interceptors and in few years we will make it one of the best as claimed in our air force vision 2030.
I was thinking you are saying that JF-17 is not comparable to anything despite the fact that your air force possess only 45 fighters/interceptors which are THIRD CLASS not comparable to JF-17. In JF-17 block 3 we are going make it a 4-th GENERATION PLUS fighter. Do you guys even know what does it mean? :D :D :D

Now come to GDP growth. Pakistan per capita income is more than yours. Since 2013 Pakistan GDP growth is raising and after 2018 with our gwadar port we're going to outclass every country in terms of GDP growth. Our economy will grow the most in future and you're gonna see that.

You stated the years between 1990-2015 and for your kind information from 2003-2007 PAK GDP growth touched nearly 7%. You should again check Pakistan gdp growth from 1990-2015.

you said that we are going to buy Mig-35/SU-30 in the next 5 years. Dude 5 years means a lot of time. In the next 4 years till 2020 PAF will modernize itself. We will induct more than 100 jf-17s which will also include block 3 (the 4-th generation plus). We have F-16s and we are going to modernize it. We got dassault too. We got Chengdu F-7 too.

You said in next decade???? In the next decade we will have block 4 or 5 which will be a mainstream fighter.

I just doubt your credibility. Are you trolling? if you're trolling then its ok otherwise i doubt your mental situation

No point discussing with someone that comes up with lines like these. BD jute exports paid for Pakistani infrastructure and imports during the 1947-1971 period and that is a fact.

Currently we might be producing 50 % of it and that is good enough for me . It would be atleast 50 years for Bangladesh to even start considering it in the first place . There is no comparison . You are comparing your country to a top 10 military power in the world . You would be better off to compare Bangladesh with Myanmar or Nepal .

:D :D :D Jute? really man, so it was all on what you started discussion here?

Its a fact. you survived on Pakistan's resources. Read history first.

Your jute money was spent on your infrastructure dude not ours one and it was too little money. Pakistan was the leading economy till 1971 war and after that also under Zia rule.

Road Quality

PK 75 ( best in South Asia)
Bangladesh 117

We didnot build our 1000's km long World class motorways with your jute . You guys still have to make a 4 lane road in 2016 .

True but it helped Pakistan build a lot of infrastructure and military in the 1971 period which cannot be denied. One of the main causes of BD independence was that BD resources were being transferred to Pakistan.

btw - BD has pretty much completed two 4-lane highways now and this will only accelerate - see below:

TBH bangladesh having a 4 lane highway in 2016 is pretty bad . How does it feel like to live in Dhaka? the traffic jams must be epic . :D

How do 15 million people live in 250 sq/km city:angel: . What was your government thinking for 40 years if we were taking away your jute and making infrastructure then why didn't you make any infrastructure with your own jute?

Imagine what BD's will say when they will travel on motorways, GT roads, Lahore Ring Road, Karachi roads, Islamabad roads. It will be a complete different thing for them.

Just checked Dhaka on internet and the fourth picture on google images was of traffic jam :D

By the time of independence in 1971, the price of jute had gone down due to widespread use of plastics by then

Dhaka is getting lots of flyovers and a metro will soon start to be built.
