Am a Pashtun by ethnicity and i wear shalwar kameez 3 days out 7 in a week here along with my Peshawari Chapal . Shalwar Kameez looks graceful

But you will never see bengali's wearing lungi's abroad because they are embarrassed about it .

First it's Shalwar not salwar . and its sazish not '' sajish '' as you guys call it

And they wear it because they are proud of it . The level of patriotism and nationalism in Pakistan is much much higher than Bangladesh . And rightly so. what would Bangladesh be proud of ? 20 years of misery in cricket? No relevance worldwide? Wearing lungi's ? No 4 lane highways even in 2016 ? Inferiority complex to both India and Pakistan? Being insecure and amateur about everything ? No entertainment industry? Living in the worst mega city in the world?

Bangladesh is like that lonely weird guy you have in high school . . You will notice him in some corner , he's just there sitting in a corner watching other significant people go by and with no one coming up to sooth him up. That's Bangladesh

Lungis are home dress like sleeping gown in Bangladesh. People just dont go out wearing it unlike Indians or Burmese. If people are shamed of it then they would not had wore it.

Shalwar Kameez is considered casual dress in Bangladesh. They wont go to office wearing it.

It exactly the opposite. Bdians called Indians Dhoti Indian. Indians found no other way to troll back and started pulling lungis.

They could as Lungis are considered low class cheap dresses in Bangladesh. It has nothing to do with other countries, specially in Burma or India where they dont consider it low class.

Acc. to @UKBengali as the BD GDP (virtual) will cross the Pak GDP by 2025 then they will order 103 F-23 (advanced version of F-22), which they will get by 2035 when they will cross PAF.

two two trillion economies (India & Russia) are finding it hard to finance the project but BD (150 billion dollars (approx) econ.) will jump in like a superman & buy 250 of them
