Bangladesh Air Force Chief Flies in Indian Tejas

British forced us to become Pakistani? You must be kidding right?

Where all India Muslim League was born , who was the founder of all India Muslim league, where they got the majority of vote in 1937 Indian provincial election? Do you know in Punjab they only got 1 seat at that time ?

Also tell me who proposed Lahore resuolation in 1940 .

One more thing , do you know that Jamati Islami was actually against the creation of Pakistan and Bangabadhu sheikh Mujib was one of the die hard youth who was the part of Pakistan movement?

Later in 1971 we separated through our freedom war , but that's different scenario.

But why you are trying to alter the history like some Pakistani racist trolls in this forum? They are embarrassed about the history , but why for any earthly reason a Bangladeshi will be embarrassed?
India has a long history of many centuries, based upon religious prejudice against the Muslims. In this regard, Indian intelligence agency RAW which was founded in 1968, has assumed a significant status as invisible actor in formulation of India’s domestic, regional and global policies, particularly directed against Pakistan.
Hindus give credit to Indira Gandhi who in the late 1970s gave RAW a new role to suit her “Indira Doctrine” specifically asking it to undertake covert operations in neighbouring countries, especially Pakistan.
In this connection, RAW had unleashed a well-organised plan of psychological warfare, creation of polarisation among the armed forces, propaganda by false allegations against West Pakistan, creation of differences between the political parties and religious sects of East and West Pakistan, control of media, and manipulating linguistic, political and economic disputes in order to malign the Bengalis against Islamabad.
Notably, one can note political, economic and social disparities almost in every Third World country. India, itself, contains these disparities on a larger scale. In more than 13 states of India, separatist movements are at work.Nevertheless, RAW’s well-paid agents had activated themselves in East Pakistan in the 1960s to dismember Pakistan. For this aim, it took the responsibility of funding Sheikh Mujibur Rahmans’ general elections in 1970 and the members of his party, Awami League. It colluded with the pro-Indian persons and had paid full attention in training and arming the Mukti Bahni (terrorists). Playing with the bloodshed of Muslims, RAW succeeded in initiating a civil war in East Pakistan. However, huge quantity of arms started entering East Pakistan. Meanwhile, India welcomed the refugees, providing them with every facility to provoke them against West Pakistan.Majib was already in connivance with India for separation of East Pakistan. In this context, Asoka Raina in his book, ‘Inside RAW: The Story of India’s Secret Service’, discloses, “Indian intelligence agencies were involved in erstwhile East Pakistan…its operatives were in touch with Sheikh Mujib as the possible ‘Father’ of a new nation-Bangladesh, who went to Agartala in 1965. The famous Agartala case was unearthed in 1967. In fact, the main purpose of raising RAW in 1968 was to organise covert operations in Bangladesh. Indian army officers and RAW officials used Bengali refugees to set up Mukti Bahini. Using this outfit as a cover, Indian military sneaked deep into East Pakistan…the story of Mukti Bahini and RAW’s role in its creation and training is now well-known…RAW had established the network of a separatist movement through ‘cells’ within East Pakistan and military training camps in Indian territory adjoining East Pakistan…carrying out acts of sabotage against communication lines so that Indian forces simply marched in at the ‘right’ time…conducting unconventional guerrilla acts against the Pakistani defense forces.”
It is mentionable that before the 1971 war, Mujibur Rahman had announced a separate national flag for East Pakistan in his six points which also included that currency of East Pakistan should be different along with a separate military.
His six points created prejudice among Bengali people especially against West Pakistan. The famous slogan, during his addresses and rallies was, “Punjabi dogs go back.” It was due to Mujib’s instigation that besides Punjabis, Bengalis had also tortured and killed Biharis, Pashtoons and Balochis, while their women were raped.
Now, Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wajid and her ruling party Awami League have continuously been pursuing Indian directions by conducting anti-Pakistan campaign.

Since Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina Wajid came into power; New Delhi has been employing various tactics to entrap Bangladesh by exploiting her pro-Indian tilt to fulfill its strategic interests. In this respect, after passing of 42 years to the events of 1971, which resulted into the separation of East Pakistan, Abdul Qadir, the leader of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) was hanged because of his loyalty to Pakistan. Executions of Mujadid and Chaudry of JI were also part of the same scheme.

The tragedy of dismemberment of East Pakistan was aimed at creating a compliant country through Indian trained and financed terrorists (Mukti Bahini) who had killed thousands of Pakistanis in cold blooded activities.

In this regard, while addressing a ceremony during his Bangladesh tour, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi openly stated on June 7, 2015 that Indian forces helped Mukti Bahini to turn East Pakistan into Bangladesh. He elaborated that former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had played an active role in separating Bangladesh from Pakistan, and he had also come to Delhi in 1971 to participate in the Satyagraha Movement, launched by Jana Sangh as a volunteer to garner support for the Mukti Bahini members.

Like PM Modi, in the past, former Indian premier Indra Gandhi also admitted India’s role in the separation of East Pakistan.

At present, Prime Minister Modi is trying to implement the same job in Pakistan’s Balochistan province where RAW is supplying arms to the separatist elements and is encouraging the anti-Pakistan Baloch leaders to continue opposing the federation of Pakistan.

Nevertheless, Indian leadership by manipulating the concerns of Bangladesh army over the raising of “Jatiyo Rakhi Bahini” (National vanguards) in 1972, once again created volatility in Bangladesh by patronizing the killing of Sheikh Mujibur Rehman. The supplementary purpose of the incident was to make 1974 tripartite agreement dormant, as by the agreement Sheikh Mujib, had wished cordial relations among Pakistan, India and Bangladesh.

Ironically, Awami League’s purported nationalism is based on fabricated figures about the killing of three million Bengali people in 1971. It was not authenticated by independent researchers. So, Pakistan’s army had no motivation to kill so many people in such a short conflict, fought in unfavorable operational situation.
Nonetheless, genocide committed by Indian trained terrorists in East Pakistan cannot be ruled out. Awami League’s delusions, under Sheikh Hasina’s rule are expected to create grave problems for Bangladesh. The growing discontent in the country over authoritarian and vindictive rule of Awami League vis-à-vis antagonistic approach towards Islamabad is causing a division in Bangladeshi society.
Regarding the so-called genocide of the Bengali people, a famous Bengali journalist Sarmila Bose authored a book, “Dead Reckoning: Memories of the 1971 Bangladesh War” after thorough investigation. She terms the number a gigantic rumor, while Hamoodur Rahman Commission Report considers even 26,000 as an exaggerated figure. Richard Sisson and Leo E. Rose in book titled “War and Secession: Pakistan, India and the Creation of Bangladesh” clearly pointed out that figures about so-called genocide were Indian purported.
Pakistan’s eagerness in fostering good relations with Dhaka can be gauged from huge investments in Bangladesh by Pakistani traders.
Bengalis must know that in the backdrop of Modi’s anti-Muslims statements and lockdown in Kashmir, including the recent Citizenship (Amendment) Bill 2019, which seeks to provide Indian citizenship to non-Muslim refugees,[allegedly] facing religious persecution in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan and role of India in dismemberment of Pakistan through state sponsored terrorism (Insertion of Mukti Bahni) have, clearly, been exposed. People of Bangladesh may identify their real enemies-India and Awami League which are creating conditions for further breakup of Pakistan and has made Pakistanis and Bengalis target each other. Now, they are again active to promote pro-Indian feelings through Awami League and Sheikh Hasina’s government and gag the opposition, so that it can be turned into a fully compliant state. Undoubtedly, as part of old anti-Pakistan campaign, Awami League conceals facts about the Indian conspiracy behind the Fall Dhaka.

We will fight till the last drop of blood for Mumlikat e khudadad. not for Sindhi, Punjabi,Pushtan,Sriki, Bengali, Balochi , Canadian , American , any religion sect slogan. We are proud Pakistani becuase it makes my connection with Allah and
Pakistan Zindabad.

I will answer your question in short. In joint Pakistan other than military regime , most of PMs of Pakistan was from East Pakistan.

Mujib was elected Prime minister of Pakistan.

So actually Bengalis didn't get provoked by Raw , but they were provoked by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto , when he demanded two prime minister for one country.

Then when Mujib was on discussion with Military regime and wanted to revive democracy ( for both side ) , suddenly operation search light stared .

Rest are history that no need to repeat. I am afraid that millions of time it has been discussed here. It's better to move on .

I reply in simple words, Hasina accepted Sonar Bangla Day, Father of the nation had dreamed of Bangladesh since 1947. He used the Quid- e- Azam, as a tool for Bangladesh creation. Every nation has some merit and demerit point; This was told to Jinnah omit Mir Jafar's children, who betrayed Siraj ud-Daulah during the Battle of Plassey and succeeded Daulah after the British victory in 1757. Let them be a part of Indian states.
This Betrayal your PM accepted publicly, father of nation dream. So please refrain from your fed and exposed propaganda and looks good it contian within BD and India. enjoy your Teja flight.

It does suit Bangladesh to get the Tejas - they really have no threats except Burma(unless they want to really complete their vassal state status and go full anti-China). Their force structure is mostly compromised by their links to India so unlike the Sri Lankans they don’t need a robust air defense components beyond what is needed to tackle Burma.

With the Tejas they get a halfway decent fighter with all the bells and whistles even if a little dependent on too many cooks. They also get the advantage of the depot facility if HAL comes up with a good deal right next door.

You right, and it will make another easy victory for JF-17 and battle-proven aircraft, Teja Killer. in future if there is BD vs Burma.

We wanted a separate country in the east, not that multi ethnic mess that existed before 71. Read about Suhrawardy's 'United Bengal' proposal before we were made to join Pakistan. The only reason the proposal wasn't realized was because the leaders of then Hindu majority Western Bengal rejected the plan and demanded partition. The f'in British instead of recognising Eastern Bengal as a separate Muslim country made us join the far away lands of Punjab and NWFP in an illogical union which was bound to break at some point in time

Well spoken, Bhutto was the biggest cancer in Pakistans history and the biggest bastard along with mir zafar the traitor. Bengalis were soley responsible for the creation of Pakistan at one point. Dhaka had more influence than Lahore in the independance movement with the Bengali majority muslim league at the forfront. Many of these bengali leaders of the muslim league were sidelined and eventually became the awami league with a more nationalistic bengali orientation. Bhuttos actions post 1970 elections further fueled the divide. He simply could let his ego aside and let Mujib take the relmes. That alone would have done a lot to calm nationalistic sentiments since Mujib was far more reasonable that mature than the hot headed idiotic bhutto.

Even now Every few years we see politicians play the Sindh card, punjab card, baloch card, KP card, etc... but eventually once these groups form a govt we see that they become a lot more mature and reasonable focused more on Running Pakistan itself. Same could have been done in 1970 instead Bhutto fueled the divide with his rhetoric

We wanted a separate country in the east, not that multi ethnic mess that existed before 71. Read about Suhrawardy's 'United Bengal' proposal before we were made to join Pakistan.
In fact in the forum , I was the biggest supporter of the United Bengal theory of Sohrawardi, (although not anymore) I know this story very well.

The only reason the proposal wasn't realized was because the leaders of then Hindu majority Western Bengal rejected the plan and demanded partition.
Well it was because of Vinayak Savarkar who was the founder of hindutva .

And I would say that the hindutva ideology was the real reason for Muslim leaders to divide the sub continent and then the Pakistan movement ( separate Muslim nation for Indian Muslims) emerged.

The f'in British instead of recognising Eastern Bengal as a separate Muslim country made us join the far away lands of Punjab and NWFP in an illogical union which was bound to break at some point in time
But what about the Banga Bhanga of 1905 ? It was Hindu leaders who were against it. But then why the same Hindu leaders didn't want the United Bengal of Sohrawardi? Because in an United Bengal , Muslims would be majority ( 56%-60%)

So it's clear that when Muslims were beneficial then they opposed the partition of Bengal.

And when the partition benefits them they choose Indian union instead of United Bengal.

So after digging deeper, nowadays I believe that creating joint Pakistan was a reality ( after introduction of hindutva by Savarkar), and it's only Hindu supremacy was the reason of partition of India.

They opposed creating Pakistan too as in so called akhand Bharat , they will be majority , and in United Bengal they will be the minority , that's the reason they opposed it.

So it's clear that such disturbing mentality of Hindu supremacist were the real reason of Pakistan movement and Bengalis were pioneer in the movement .

Because they didn't forget the cancellation of bangabhanga.
It's not possible to write all history of oppression on Bengali Muslims before Banga Bhanga ( partition of Bengal in 1905) you know , you will need page after page to write the whole history.

Very well said Bhai , I agree wholeheartedly. Thank you.

Oh boy, lets hope they sent Hasina up for a flight in one... it might be the only way BD is free from her India-phillia.

It's jsut daft. Bangladesh is growing economically, it has (some) money in it's pocket, it doesn't have bad relations with western countries - surely it makes sense to go for something like the F-16 or the Gripen.

she's done way more for her country than your leaders have done for yours. You do remember that BD is way ahead of you in most indices?

Nah Myanmar is just an immediate threat.

Real threat is India. From British period Bengali Muslims were oppressed by Hindu elites, and they won't forget it from generation to generation. Doesn't matter what you see in regional politics , it's just some cat and rat playing scenario.

So Bangladesh will be prepared for the real threat in the long run. And that's why Indian aircraft shall never be an option.

Its easy to make money now than to build something that will be far more powerful in the future.

The US could have gotten rich real quick remaining a colony of the british, Rome could have continued to thrive under Carthage, etc ... instead they fought for their freedom and built something greater... that has value which is unlimited.

We do not worship the golden cow like your people. For us the blood of kashmiris is not worth $$$ and never will be.

God you guys TALK so much. They not only make money but have built some excellent corporations like Walton and are becoming major ship buiders. They didn't make money on aid but through hard work and building good educational institutions. You haven't done any of that and when someone refers to it you just smack out of them.
i dont think India is stupid enough to annex Bangladesh and let 140 million muslims run wild through India and let them bring a civil war all over India. i think India will jump try to suffocate Bangladesh with closing the land/sea/air borders and impoverish them, steal their waters, etc.

lets see

Their chief takes a ride in one our planes and suddenly this is India 'annexing' BD? You got some really wild imagination running.

Our leaders have kept us free from slavery. She is selling Bangladesh out. Whores get paid too, doesn't make it honourable. I wouldn't expect you to understand you people have them in temples.

To even consider purchasing a plane for your airforce which spends more time on the back of a parade float than in the air is ludicrous. If it was effective you'd be equipped with it.

No country in the world calls BD a slave state- only you because of your resentment and hatred of them, because they use their better judgement to better their people instead of being stuck in the nonsensical vortex you seem to be stuck in.
