Our labor in spite of lower wages has been more skilled and productive than Indian laborers, whether in agriculture (men), garments (women) or industry (mostly men). This has been proven in multiple studies by ILO and others.

Your labor is good for just one thing, joining unions.........

The fact that we tolerate Indian labor is because we don't have narrow minds like Indian RSSers.

Why does that matter. Bangladesh is a small country. It should focus on economic and social development like Switzerland rather than trying to enter power games like the Pakistani/jamaati lovers in Bangladesh want BD to.

Big or small, Jamaati or non-jamaati, BD people are not willing to accept domination by any of its neighbors. So, BD will not make an arms race, but will keep on building up its armed forces for its own defense.

The chairman of the University Grants Commission has observed that students of Bangladesh are losing 400,000 jobs to foreigners because of the 'lack of just three basic skills'.

Prof Abdul Mannan observed that students of Bangladesh "cannot communicate, lack in computer skills and lack situational awareness."

He made this observation while speaking as the chief guest at an orientation programme for newly admitted students of business administration at Chittagong Independent University at Jamal Khan in Chittagong on Thursday.

The lack of these skills among local students gives 400,000 foreigners from a number of countries, among which are Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, Nepal, Honduras, Nicaragua, China and North Korea, employment across many sectors in the country.
