What Bangladeshi can boast that speaking or writing in praise of Israel nowadays won't get you jailed, expelled, ostracized, or killed? I don't think there is one. (Even Pakistan isn't that bad.) Hence, Bangladeshi writing condemning Israel can't be taken seriously - as the words of a thoughtful person who evaluates morality, truth, and justice. It's just a waste of electrons, ink, or air.

I would say Bangladesh is far worse off than Pakistan. At least in Pakistan you can find some who don't allow their emotions to cloud their minds.
