He was a great man. Hardcore Nationalist and Hindu. His party Shiv Sena did many good things for the state of Maharashtra when it was in power but sadly people know them only for the "RADDA" which too were necessary sometimes

Bal Thackeray was dead on Monday. This much time was given by the family so that police can make adequate security arrangements and are prepared to meet any contingency and especially there are threats of communal riots. One small fire cracker going anwhere for the next 5 or 6 hours would make the crowd go berseck in anger.
