Baktar Shikan in action

Looks like the missile just ricocheted off of the side of the hull due to the angle of attack and besides rattle nerves there seems to be no significant damage at all. There aren't any note worthy optics in that ancient tank to speak of.
Now if Baktar Shikan was a top attack ATGM, it would have been a different story.

. .
Baktar Shikan Strike seems to not have destroyed the tank though it does seem to have caught fire in one place. But tank 'seems to be' intact. And why does it return to the spot after leaving? What's behind that?
A hit to the right cheek, as seen in the video, wouldn't kill the driver, who's in the hull, that's why the tank can still move. But the gunner and commander along with the gun were probably killed, effectively mission killing the tank. So, it might look 'intact', but it's not.

A hit to the hull would've been better though, it could kill all the crew and even detonate the ammo destroying the tank.

There was no ricochet, this is exactly what a HEAT warhead impact looks like. It doesn't leave much damage on the outside.

Angle of attack...

he times the tank explodes from an ATGM hit is mostly caused by ammo detonations.

For reference. Here is an Iranian Chieftan tank being hit and ultimately knocked out by an Iraqi ATGM.

(All crew survived. The driver was injured though)
FFfffff....I'm downloading that video O_O

I have one where Chieftain tanks just go by slowly with some fire on them, but nothing else going on.

India phased out T 55 over 30 to 40 years ago.

Don't we operate Tandem warhead version of hj 8??

. . . . . . .

How would u compare this ATGM vs indian T-90s and T-72, Is it capable of taking them out in one shot.
T-72s should be easy. T-90 is a tougher nut to crack because of Kontakt-5 ERA and improved base armour. But tandem warheads should be able to deal with them. Theoretically.
