Bahrian to buy Eurofighter Typhoon

If these oppressed innocents who are being killed and raped for the sake of protesting, blogging and other peaceful stuff are called "terrorists", I wonder what would you call the foreign-backed militias in Syria who have even committed bombings and kidnapping? Nice hypocrisy :disagree:

They are terrorists, the ones who run over policemen, throw Molotov and shoot them, burn down security cars and public and private properties, make terror bombings and attacks here and there are not peaceful protesters but rather scum terrorists.

Syrian uprising is a different story, Syrians have been being exposed to systematic genocide and they got to pick up arms to save themselves.

Either you understand it like this, or just go sit in the corner with your funky regime and cry a river.

Don't want to continue the discussion but

this is bullsh!t man. Just going to say that. lol.

Good excellent.

Maybe the Typhoon gun canon can save up time on executing those low life terrorists in Bahrain. Just line them up and use them as target practice, it is going to be fun.

I wanted to see the Mirage-2000 of the UAE in action :ashamed: in there..

So in the gulf region who all own Typhoons? KSA and Bahrain only at the moment.

UAE has a single engine doctrine and is content with its F-16s and Mirages. They may most probably end up buying Rafale (courtesy the Mirage legacy) while reports of Oman's interest in Gripen NG were popping up a few months ago. While Kuwaiti F-18s still have some life in them.

For an effective GCC joint military force, all the member states could consider buying the EFT and F-15s to make it a uniform fleet.

However, each country operates a highly diverse fleet, especially KSA. They've got EFT, F-15, Tornados and F-5s.

For example, most of the NATO countries have F-16s as their standard jets except a few nations.

Oman purchased 12 Typhoons already. UAE is still between either the Rafale or Typhoon after BAe gave them a really good deal. Bahrain and Qatar is also considering Typhoons.

Saudi Arabia will have a full service and upgrade center in country to take care of all the GCC Typhoons, this Typhoon dedicated center is what prompted Oman to make the purchase, as well as other GCC countries. Saudi Arabia is going to use the same engine on its F-15SA as the GCC F-16s.

Interoperability between GCC states is considered highly in GCC military, to the point that RSAF has servicemen who specialize in F-16 maintenance to enhance joint operation capability.
