Simply put, Turkey and Turks are a part of Iranian history over the past thousand years.

The Selcuk Turks arrived in 1071( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Manzikert ) ,you really dont want to change your statement?

Because in those days(1950s till 1990),the Soviet Union was a threat to my country,NATO was protection and help(military and economic).

I would have believed you if Turkey had relinquished its NATO membership as soon as USSR was dissolved.

If Turkey did not have problem joining Caucasian NATO to confront USSR/Russia then why would it have problems joining Arab NATO to confront Iran?

Semantics. At best nitpicking on datelines.

Turks are a part of Iranian history.

Not of Persian Parsi history.

Parsis left Persia for India 1300 years ago.

As such I have no more interest in Turks than I have in Egyptians.

I never post in the Turkish section for the same reason.

I was tagged and asked a question to a statement I had made elsewhere and I replied. A single post.

I realize it might be a bit off topic here, but I wanted a Turkish perspective on this that is not limited by national interests of boundaries of sovereign (read: Turkish) territory.

What is your read about the Kurdish fight for carving out an independent state.

Leaving Turkish and Iranian territory, do you see it birthing out of the current warring Syrian and Iraqi regions?

An independent Kurdistan growing out of what is now called the KRG?

I hear the Jews too are putting their might and resources behind this as well as many Israeli Kurds migrating to the region.
