Bahrain Airshow 2016 : Light Combat Aircraft Tejas in action

Hi,

Please don't give us the sob story of the " learning curve "----. This was a fckd up program right from the begining and has not changed since then. It was to mint money and keep jobs secure for the scientists and enginers and they succeeded.

How many batches of employees retired on this project!!!!!

So---at 30 years plus---the scientist saw the mood of the nation and said---we cannot stretch it anymore---.

BFD---so an elephant would fly after 30 years---if it had gone thru all those modifications.

Hi,

We are silent at your stupidity---a 30 years old project now flying at a foreign airshow for the very first time yesterday---you guys ought to die in shame---at the level of your incompetence.

Don't be silent....Rejoice......:nana::nana::nana:

When your wife give birth to your son...even if it take 45 years ....you will be proud....
but if it a test tube baby...( i mean Chinese....) the whole world know....who is the Dad.
Be proud of your achievement.....Not Neighbors....

Covert action is needed to obtain engine tech like crystal blade, nobody can give us this and they wont.
Damn we have got large steel tycoons at our side like tatas and Mittal ...still we lack such technology

Quite amazing show guys....waiting for a good video.

There will more in store if they fly again today or tomorrow. ...

Engine tech for jets is very hard, even the Chinese who have spent 10x more than us have struggled but I think TATA can be a big player in defence in next 5 years.

Start watching 2.40 Min into the video...

Hi,

What a fcking joke this display is---the aircraft releases brake at 5:29---wheels up at 5:41---sticks its wheels in at 5:49---and keeps on flying low to gain speed till 5:59---ie is 10 seconds and when it gathers speed---and when it has enough energy buildup---it goes up---.

30 seconds---half a minute-----

What a chicken sh-it lack of power display----

@Viper0011. check this out bud----you would like the info

Now look at the take of of the JF 17 at paris

Brake release at 00:57 second-----the moment the wheels are off the ground--it takes a steep climb at 1:17 second and shoots up-----and still the wheels are down and not tucked in---which means a massive drag on the aircraft---.

The wheels go in at around 1:30---.

So---basically---it is up at close to 4000 feet elevation whereas the Tejas is just about lifitng off the runway to put its nose up in the air.

Guys---just check the vidoes out----. Pakistani guys---I told you many months ago---there was a reason for the wheels out take off and the hanging wheels----. They don't want to show the actual power of the aircraft.

Cool down m.k

We understand your pain. Damn you call aurengazeb for back up ha ha

Your frustration really shows here by saying JFT did take off with hanging wheel not to show the real power of the jet....
come o show some maturity at least in this age. We all know what you wrote and said about the wheel episode in that paticular thread.

Do no stoop to that level.

Dude this is Tejas's 6th Public Show... The first public show happened in 2007....
This is Tejas's first international outing for sure.

I wonder if the addition of LEVCONs will make a difference. I personally want to see the naval version make a flight display.
