Dude leave all biased aside i like gangs of wasseypur for quality of acting , direction , dialogue and storyline , there is one thing called art and acting which lame people wont understand. It was a masala Bollywood movie which people go for recreation not to gain some lame patriotic/social message.

Whatever she did , there should not have been a capital punishment , there is no freedom of speech and expression in Pakistan and many Islamic nations and that's well known fact.

1. the hero in many masala films roughly handling the heroine in some college scene, without care for any gentlemanly flirting, without respect for the heroine's privacy and self-respect.

2. long or shouty speeches by some "elder" about traditions and family values, without considering the inhuman crimes that those same traditions and "values" have brought to south asia... why are "honor killings" still happening in south asia ( esp. india ) despite sixty years of love stories in films... there are nonsense films like "baaghban" which promote respect for parents at all costs, despite parents often being the first source of oppression.

3. there was one film of indian actor mithoon chakroborthy in which he sings "jhopad patti zindabad, oonchi haveli murdabad, mehnat waale zindabad, daulat waale murdabad"... he is really promoting slums and voluntary poverty.

films like avengers, singham, lord of the rings, thor, american sniper, transformers, star wars, gadar etc are a waste of resources and time.
