well, you say nice things about poona, and gauhar khan and the lovely mansheel gujral ( from "india's rawstar" ) are from poona, and they seem to promote it... though some years ago i did read of the police doing a "moral policing" raid on a gathering of students from that symbiosis college.

still, i will visit it when i can.

3 most prominent Muslims areas in Pune are Camp , Fatima Nagar , NIBM and i haven't seen any women having any problem walking on streets in western clothing (Skirts , Frocks , Shorts ) there .

Regarding pictures it would be unethical to post anyone picture on public forum without their permission , i would rather invite you to visit pune and spend some days here to observe the vibrant environment here , not bustling like Mumbai but very young and enthusiastic crowd and nice weather . Pune is also known as Oxford of east due to high number of foreign students coming here to study and quality of education .

oh, i was joking about the pictures, though it would be nice if you invited your irani friend to pdf... i remember only one irani female member, iranigirl2... it would nice to have your friend's opinion.
