What enhanced range? It already has range of 700kms only new thing is that it can now hit targets at sea (now it may have become AShM capable).

Maybe they meant the version was the enhanced range variant which has a 700km range vs the original Babur which had a 500km range, rather than a new variation which have more range than that which was already in service

The range of previous Babur Land Attack Missile was 700 Km, perhaps the new one is dual purpose missile may be used as ASHM or Land Attack.

Its Babur-2 Land to sea version (ISPR calling it Babut-1 B). But last time they did not say the range. Now they say its 700 Km.
So this becomes Pakistan's longest range anti ship missile which can target ships 700 Km away.
