Currently the SLCM only allows for the delivery of TNW's, SLBM's are what deliver the WMD's.

India can attain assured 2nd strike capability with its SSBN fleet, it is important Pakistan matches this capability.

It has taken india 3 decades and billion dollars to get the sub launched triad.

By 2025 india will 5 arihant class subs with up to 60 SLBM . They will remain underwater indefinitely and simply cannot be detected .

Nearly all the min nuclear weapons state rely on mostly sea based nuclear detterant over land based missles
