Untested.

They are tested.

K-15 is already in service. And it was well tested.
K-4 is under test.
As far as unproven goes, pray tell me whose nuclear weapons and delivery systems have really been proven?

Shooting down cruise missiles is not so easy

Its not that hard with systems like S-300 and S-400. Not to mention India has decent AWACS cover. Plus a sub in Arabian sea or Bay of Bengal cannot exactly fire 100s of missiles without being taken out.
