Lack of development was due to wrong economic policies till 90s which made us poor.
Please compare roads in villages and suburbs now with what was before.

Now state is funding lot of programs which it could not afford before, hence they are getting reelected. Have you observed anti incumbency is not always working now a days?

If you are a public personality, your action will be seen by everybody, nothing remains secret.
Why do you think civil society activists are above suspicion and criticism.

this politicians are impervious of criticism.. they need to show real action on ground.. as u live in england u dont have idea about the pathetic condition of people in india.. just visit a railway station.. who will come to the ground

500 million people are poor not because of corruption of politicians, but due to bad distribution system and last mile delivery.
Even if you change politician every 5 years, that wont go away.

We need to find better way of delivering services to poor. Any innovation including IT will help.
Example: Railway ticketing has no corruption now, not because we sacked lots of ministers, but because we introduced IT.

Believe me, the railway stations are 10 times better than what it was 10 years ago. May be you have forgotten everything.
And please dont make everything congress vs BJP( I am sick and tired of AL Vs BNP, but they are not my people)
BJP was also in power, they contributed to nation building the same way congress does.
