That's the only parts on topic so I will entertain this only, the rest is off topic and suitable for a separate discussion and I'm sure there exist a lot of threads already where this issue would have been discussed in detail so let's try to remain on topic.
I guess they themselve don't have any idea about the university. What will be taught there? If it is just about sikhism and life of Baba Guru Nanak, then technically a few subjects can be taught at any existing university under a chair. I really don't see its scope for a university and then their population is so small..I mean mainly it would sikhs who will want to study about sikhism/guru nanak and not even all sikhs will be interested in studying it either.
Well it was you who asked for the population of Sikhs in Pakistan and then wondered if my response was accurate. I never tried to derail the topic to start with. I was just responding to your posts.
You have to understand that these hospitals are named after these people because they founded and funded them. If Sikhs want a university, they can make it privately..otherwise you will have to treat all the minorities fairly according to their proportion and they will all demand universities.
I think Indians would be more than happy to fund it, if allowed.
