Thousands of people from several villages of Pulwama district in south Kashmir on Sunday marched towards Parigam to participate in a pro-freedom rally.
The marchers were raising anti-India and pro-freedom slogans.

A similar rally was going on in Wasoora area of the district.
Meanwhile, thousands of people participated in pro-freedom protest rallies in Muloo - Chitragam in Shopian and Breenthi Batpora Dailgam in Anantnag.
Here too people were raising anti-India, pro-Pakistan and pro-freedom slogans.
Pakistani flags were also waved during the protests which were peaceful.
Religious scholars of all schools of thought, besides activists of pro-freedom parties addressed the rallies.
