Except that the Romans invaded all of the rest of Europe, for the most part, first.Yes Ottomans were an imperial empire and they did some bad things as you would expect from an imperial empire. While those things cannot be justified, and frankly some of their practices should be condemned, the Ottomans were not the first and certainly not the last imperial empire that did such things.
Going by your reasoning..
What about all those European based Christian and pre-Christian empires (Romans,Byzantines etc.) that are considered to have done "great things"-as in, invaded raped, conquered and pillaged Muslim(middle eastern,African) lands. ....but this is great to you....when middle easterners/central Asians fought back and brought the war to you they are evil invaders....this is christian(european) hypocrisy 1 on 1.
