What's new

Aurat March

I don't give a shit to your opinions that roams around certain norms of this soceity we're trying to get rid off .
These women are having fun and speaking about the differences they experience in a very , very bold way that no one in pakistan would have thought . I don't see them moving around topless or attracting the men. They're speaking their voice about something unusual so let them be . They're not degrading or demeaning hijabis like you , they just are against these things imposed forcefully, so you should also show some non judgemental view.

Oh come on maam, i doubt these women know the society outside of their families and colleges. I really doubt that they actually know the problems faced by women.
I did not see these women mention a single actual problem women face in this society, and here they are moaning about Hijab. Fun is all they are having nothing else.
I did not see anybody raise an issue about the shit female government teachers are put through, oh yes lets cry about Hijab that no one forced us to wear, thats more important.
I doubt you or they have the slightest idea of their problems.
These shenanigans are detrimental to movement. These problems cannot be solved on roads by holding placards with shitty slogans and "having fun".
These rallies are insult to my mother, my aunts and my teachers who face these problems and are actually fighting to end these problems.

. .
I’m sorry to be harsh here but sista grow up & then come back to defence forum. Fun? Stop supporting the protest that’s utterly disgrace to women.
I’m so sick of illiterate feminists like you. What the heck “this society”?
Have you freaking seen women riding rickshaws in this society to support their family? This society has produced women authors, athlesets, scientists, fighter pilots, actresses, designers, doctors and the list goes on. Every society at some point oppresses its women. The only difference is in our society little kiddos like you or wannabe feminists sells it.

I swearrrr. Just fun day out.....

And I donot understand why would someone compare a simple protest with other level of acquiring successes of women . It's just a March for God's sake , why would anyone go personal .

Well, I've kinda noticed you,
here's a though for you .

Every women has her own reasons for why she's doing that . The women you think are being stupid, immoral , they do because they enjoy the activity itself and it's benefits and result . If you think these women are violating what is considered ' moral ' in your brain and you're slut shaming them , are u aware what you're doing, i e , ' I'm a good pious girl .
I donot take such protests on personal and judgemental level . For I understand, they might be doing it because they enjoy the activity just like you and I enjoy certain things of our interest, they might be looking for attention , they might be simply rebellious against soceity or they be general voicing out what's in their mind. Like just ask them directly about the unusual activity they've been doing without shaming nd reaching the conclusion .

They donot represent your mother, sister , daughter ... They're different human beings responsible for their actions nd answers .

If they belong to high soceity nd are voicing out their problems then they've all rights to do that .... The poor women you're talking about should also come out nd voice out their problems ... no one stopped them rather they would be supported !

Where did i give that impression and where did i judge those women. Lady more than half the females in my family never wore hijab until a few years back and many still don't.
And yes i am quite aware of what i am doing the question is are you or are they?
Taking such a serious matter as just an activity to enjoy ............WOW

I beg to differ. And yes they did that last year in multiple cities in Punjab and those protests went on for nearly a week and do you know how much attention media payed them???????????????????

If you lack the intellect to know that who am I referring and replying to ... then I see no reason to go on further with you to teach the complexities .

.
Sir all the issues which you have mentioned, except forced marriages, are not gender specific.
These issues disproportionately affect women but these clowns are not looking at real issues of women
That's all in your mind if you take this as sexualising nd degradation of women body , while I perceive it in a different image in my mind . Just difference of thoughts , you know .
Care to elaborate? Would love to hear your thoughts on it :D

So here are some placards from the so called aurat March rally

That is absolutely disgusting. I am a hijabi, who’s a student. So my “chadar” makes me “gali sari lash”???

Slow clap*

So how exactly this gonna help with asking for women rights? Such wannabes damage the real cause too.

hypocrisy level: ok if you want equality then what is “aurat raj”?

Here comes my favorite.

Can someone explain me how will monking help the real cause of demanding rights?

Ps: women definitely should break the face of a guy who harasses her. I totally support it.
But them women need to understand, your brothers, father, son and/or husband can protect you the best from the evil eyes of men out there.

Here’s the last one. Is this the women right?
Ok I’m student & work too. And I swear I don’t mind getting up to give my brother a glass of water. Yes sometimes I do feel lazy and get annoyed but where exactly women rights are connected to this?

so refreshing to see that the misogynists are resorting to personal attacks and useless and stale jokes
that just goes to show that the girls are winning, the male chauvinists are crying
