Atheism: Next threat to humanity

Ok. So ordinary Muslims who memorise our scripture - you expect them to 'riot, murder, steal and beg'.

Ok.

Wow. This coming from a self proclaimed irreligious atheist.

Now imagine the hate we get from practising Hindus or Sikhs.

Nah.. That's for Hindus too. What's the class of folks who riot... Typically the lower economic...

It's always funny to hear an Hindu defining and claiming atheism.

Lol. Any basis for this argument? Or is this conjecture again, like everything else you talk about and believe in?

i have met thousands of Indians in all over middleast and Europe, never met a single one who is not deeeply and fundamental Hindu. or may be moderate Hindus and atheist of India are not allowed to leave India!

I live in Delhi and I hang out with typical middle class professionals. Religious talks are rare unless people are criticising the central government.
The folks who leave their country tend to cling to their culture for a few generations.

I have had the same observations as you. None of my NRI friends are atheists. Most are right wing and extremely chauvinistic overall. Indian tourists in Dubai or Muscat are likely to be more progressive than the Indians who are living there long term. Also note that the people settled outside aren't generally from the major metropolitan cities in India. The typical computer engineers and coders are just the high academic performers from small towns.

Religious talks or may i say making fun of religion is favorite past time of so called atheists.
Every time they are with me on a car or evening, they love to mention about all the worst Islam is.
Never heard them calling Hinduism or Kali has any negative side.

The folks who leave their country tend to cling to their culture for a few generations.

This i tend to agree... I already see, hindu father and son eating pork and chicken meat. I trust in next 2-3 generations, i might see daughters and mothers also eating pork /chicken and may be 10 generations down the lane an occasional beef eater would be sighted as well.

Well every atheist is different. I talk against faiths in generally the following circumstances - when the religious want to kill someone for hurting their faith, when the religious folk waste public money on matters of their faith, when they deny rights to women, or when they start killing each other.
If I call hindu gods and traditions as superstitious (just like I do for other faiths), the maximum response I get is being called "too educated", "minority appease", "Liberal", "libtard". I can do this even in villages, though I would have to mind my tone.
Islam gets more criticism because most Muslims are quite serious about it.
Others don't mind it as much.


Negative sides of Hinduism-caste system, wasting time and money on superstitions, following religious leaders- most are similar to other faiths.

I visited many parts of this world. One thing I always noticed that religious people, from all the religions are less poisonous. They have values, and fear of God, in one or the other form.
Humans fought two big wars, under the banner of atheism. As religion departs, humans become animals. Son tries to marry mother, and father marries daughter. Humans are killed like cats and dogs, and no body gives a damn.
Now, as the world is running towards atheism, the humanity is running faster towards its end, and humans, with no morals are equipped with enough lethal weapons to wipe out each other.

Atheism is bigger threat than any other religion today, as atheist are a threat from within. They may be your brothers, sisters, or friends. And this disease is spreading, as in this era of machine, humans don't need God, anymore.

I think, missionaries from all religions should be united against this threat. Denial of God should be handled on priority basis.

I have one question here: What may be the most convincing argument for the existence of God? Like how to convince an atheist that there exists a God, as they just deny it, as they can't see it.

Thankfully things with us have changed over the past few years.

Previously even muslim second and third generations used to engage in drinking etc. Now the present generation is slowly moving more towards faith than otherwise.

The freedom of expression that you are associating with athiests, is something they defy in every possible manner. They make fun of things you consider to be holly. And when you say something, you are an extremist. They allow themselves everything, just because they dont belive in religion. I may be a total disgrace to society, but at least I am not an animal, and I fear God, when it comes to treat humans.


Atheist jews sir, who came from europe. And they are fundamentally not jews, most of them call themselves atheists. Religious jews were living here in ME for centuries, and there was no problem. Its only when modern western atheists came in picture, and the whole scene became red.

psst...I ACTUALLY WANTED TO BECOME AN ATHIEST! But I wasn't sure. throughout my life ever since I was a weeeee young lad here in america, I saw atheism straight up lay the smack down on the books of basically EVERY religion in the world EXCEPT The Holy Quran. I saw atheism butcher christianity, I saw it butcher judiasm, I saw it butcher sikhism, buddhism, you name it. I saw it BRUTALLY butcher every single book of hinduism...the list goes on and on. AND THIS IS AMERICA! Being raised in a Muslim family BUT not having studied The Holy Quran myself, I was raised with a certain set of doos and don't as per Islam and as young teenager, I always wondered that here in the united states, life in general, would be SO much more easier AND enjoyable, entertaining if all these Islamic "doos and don't" that my parents kept enforcing on me were not there and I was at liberty to do anything I want. BUT I wanted to be sure. Naturally, since I saw atheism crush and white-wash almost ALL religions outright based on purely scientific reasoning, I figured that atheism would do the same to Islam. So I started investigating and understanding anything and EVERYTHING in The Holy Quran that could even be REMOTELY related to science and started comparing it to modern day science with, admittedly, the foolish (and almost rebellious and childish) intention that if there was ANYTHING even REMOTELY in The Holy Quran that would contradict science, THAT would be my ticket to leave Islam (nauzubillah) since science, which is neutral and not aligned with any religion or faith, had proved it wrong which therefore would mean it is NOT the word of God (nauzubillah).

And I mean I started when I was 14 (ok almost 15) and kept researching until I was 25, TEN FRIGGIN' YEARS...And every single little science related detail I found in The Holy Quran 100% agreed with science and had literally NO contradictions AT ALL! I was literally dumb founded. Heck, FOR CRYIN' OUT LOUD, I EVEN FOUND THE SPEED OF LIGHT IN THE HOLY QURAN! Another topic for another day but I was literally left SPEECHLESS! And I always wondered why all the champions of atheism like richard dawkins et al, haven't had any debates with true Islamic scholars of The Holy Quran like Sheikh Ahmed Deedat (rahimuhullah, he was alive at the time). I mean people like richard dawkins et al had ruthelssly eliminated all the well known stalwarts of christianity, hinduism, judiasm, buddhism, sikhism, etc. So I always wondered why the heck haven't they tried to take on The Holy Quran. Now I knew why...they aren't stupid. they know FULL well that won't be able to bring out a SINGLE thing in The Holy Quran that contradicted science. IN FACT, during the 10 years of studying and research, what I ALSO found was that NOT ONLY did present day science 100% agree with The Holy Quran, science also had a lot OOPS moments in its history. Let me explain. What I mean by OOPS moments was that during the days of isaac newton, there were well defined actual scientific fact that contradicted The Holy Quran but ended up being proven WRONG in the post einstein's age of science. For example:

• newtonian physics proved that universe was always there and always will be while The Holy Quran says that the universe was created - contradiction right? well einsteins' age comes along and it got proven that the universe WAS in fact created out of a big bang (OOPS).
• newtonian physics proved that the universe itself (not the objects within it) was stationary while The Holy Quran says Allah s.w.t. is actually expanding it. well einsteins' age comes along and it got proven that the universe IS in fact expanding (yet ANOTHER OOPS moment).
• so this one is actually history related...The Holy Quran is the only book in history where Allah s.w.t. tells the pharoah of the days of Moses p.b.u.h. that He will preserve his body for the rest of the world to see and take heed from. Well, for over almost 1400 years, basically all of the nonislamic scholarly world laughed at Muslims demanding to know where is his body? Basically rubbing it in the faces of our scholars that "oye kithay taudi firon di laash"??? We had no answer...until the early 20th century, when a very strange, almost entangled, crushed body was found from one of the many pyramid tombs in Egypt. And in the 1970s, Dr. Maurice Buccille (rahimuhullah, he reverted to Islam) proved that this mangled body was in the pharoah of the days of Moses p.b.u.h. This discovery was the very reason he finally converted to Islam. (ANOTHER OOPS moment)!

The list of these "oops" moments that I discovered that basically forced science (and history) to bow before Islam was mind-boggling. And yes, it brought me to a moment of...for the lack of a better term...SHOCK AND AWE! I was got this strange, sudden and yet subtle realization that...it is all REAL! Allah is REAL...The Holy Prophets and Messengers were all REAL...truthful, all the way to The Holy Prophet Muhammed p.b.u.h. Like, my outlook when I would look up at the sky changed FOREVER because I was no longer just gazing out into NOTHINGNESS, I was gazing at an actual SOMEONE...and that SOMEONE is gazing BACK at me.

That was a turning point in my life, in many ways, I found myself addicted to The Holy Quran. The rest of it is a different story for another day I guess but I wanted to share WHY in my personal experience, I am convinced that atheism is a disease and ISLAM is the cure.

This is EXACTLY the reason why atheism is spreading.

Too much of anything results in triggering the opposite.

Any society excessively controlled, when seeing a transformation, results in people going crazy due to newly available freedoms.

Conversely, if a society is too loose and is going haywire, gives way to excessive controls.

Organised religions have a history of excessive control wherever they were, with too many man-made interventions; thereby resulting in disillusionment of the divine power and resentment.

Organised religions should just guide and advise; not control people.

Otherwise atheism will continue spreading like wildfire.

Remember, if you are spiritual, you don't need to make someone else believe except for probably just once tell them about the goodness; but if you are religiously looking for followers to gain some kind of prominence, then you are definitely not doing anything for anyone's spiritual improvement.

That's true for the most part. Religion acts as an anesthesia to sedate the beast hidden inside every human being - - - - - -. It doesn't let one's conscience die no matter how much week and fragile it has become over the years.

I've found totally opposite. Statistics confirm that.
People who do things by fear of something aren't actually good. And hence religious leaders make them do worse things to appease God & secure a seat in heaven.

Fact is that most countries whose citizens are well educated, where crime rates are close to nil and people are satisfied become atheists.
Communism is barbaric form religion, no less vitroilic than religion though.

Live your life and let others live theirs.

Better say, let me be stupid.
We may let anyone be stupid but we don't want same for further generations.
If theists all shut up, God will become speechless.

Atheism itself should be listed as a Religion.

I have filled out forms in my life where Atheism was listed among religions.

Some certain religions like Hinduism, Budhhism & Jainism allow to be atheist.

Atheism isn't a religion but a state where you have either never been affected by or got yourself free later from beliefs persisting in society.
We all are born atheists but our parents and society brainwash us.

Not really.

People who live overseas, tend to realise that other religions or cultures are not as unbiased towards their own and guest communities as we ourselves are. As a result, they start missing their own and become focused on continuing the culture.

For example, you might have met Indians in UAE or some place where they see how conveniently Muslim countries retain Islam over everyone else and still don't get called out for 'inequality'. This makes them think "hey, they are biased against others to a certain degree; so why should I tolerate endless demands of their religion's people in my country, especially when it is hurting my sentiments (eg. beef eating)?"

So the tend to become more conservative.
