At Odds with U.S., Pakistan Deepens Ties with China

Some of the best and brightest on our forum have commented on this thread but it seems to me that most of us are reading this as a zero sum game -- Pakistan needs good relations with all countries, there are more than 180 million individual Pakistanis future to consider, great relations with China is a must, they are a neighbor and always have been friendly and ever ready to assist.
And of course this leaves India - and while Pakistan and India have not since day one of their existence as sovereign nation states, not had good relations, well, I don't think (yes it's tragic) that this will change in the near future as powerful lobbies seek to align with the political and cultural attitudes now prevalent in the US.

some time Indian attitude like ' US is on our side' reminds me an old story of a village peasent who was once tapped on his shoulder by village Khan/choudhary, he remained ecstatics for weeks cuz Khan/choudhary gave him 'shahbashy' himself.

Guys this attitude is not correct in itself. you people are inadvertantly making USA as your boss, Once USA gets in your home you are lost, see the examples of US stoogies in the world (including Pakistan).
