Assam is a very big state. Its better to divide it into 2 or 3 parts. According to demography.
Good for economy and human life. If Meghalaya can be created, Barak valley also deserves the same opportunity.

Not gonna happen anytime soon.Meghalaya was divided due to administrative troubles as communication in NE states was very non existent at that time.So it was logical to divide them based on their geographical location.But dividing a state on communal basis is a can of worms that GOI is not gonna open anytime soon.
