some article from 2012 and 2013Only a Fool will say a man who destroyed his whole country and set it back by 30 years "won" anything. All this because of his greed for power. No man should be above a country, neither should ANY MAN rule a country for life (especially when the citizens are not even living a wealthy life like they should). We are mere mortals. Humans come and go but the country always remains. So why destroy your country just because of your greed for power? Should have left like Mubarak, Ben Ali etc did. Life continues, not the end of the world. Now look at Syria, the country WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN. Half its population(including the young/educated ones) have all migrated/seek refuge overseas and there is too much bad blood between Syrians today, all because of one single man. That's even considering he will ever fully control Syria again(which I don't think it's possible, even with Russian/Iranian, Hezbollah, all foriegn Shia fighters from the region etc).
So any talk of victory is laughable to be honest. There would never have been one of he handled things correctly and stepped down like any honourable leader that loves his country would have done instead of killing his own people for rising up.
I just feel sorry for common Syrian people who will never have their country back again.
The Syrian Campaign’s cover note, headline and graphics have drawn, very loosely, on some combination of those three questions. In response to question 18 69% said that ‘the main reason’ for leaving Syria was an ‘imminent threat’ to life, but without an identified source of that threat. In Question 9, 70% identified ‘Syrian Army and allied groups’ as ‘responsible for the fighting’. However as this was a multiple option question we also see that 82% have identified other armed groups (ISIS, al Nusra, FSA, YPG, other rebels). If we remove the Kurdish YPG, which has generally fought in coordination with the Syrian Army, the total is 74% anti-government armed groups. Question 14 shares the ‘multiple option’ structure of Question 9. Here 77% said they feared ‘getting arrested or kidnapped by’ the ‘Syrian Army and its allied groups’. However the combined total of anti-government groups is 82% and, if we add the YPG, 90%. The answers to both questions suggest these respondents feared the anti-government armed groups slightly more than they feared the Syrian Army. Most likely, many feared getting caught in the crossfire.
assad is only good in bombing and gassing his own people to death. Assad's forces have been bombed many times by israeli airforce he didn't do anything to retaliate.Where are the russian s300/400 missile defense? We beat the living shit out of your jihadi wahabbi boys all over SyRaq.
Your turn is next.
What sort of victory is this I wonder? That awalite bastard is the modern hitler of our time. DO those blind gullible Muslims supporting him realize that this pagan bastard gassed Muslims to death, raped our Syrian sisters and barrel bombed 1 month old infants. The only reason this bastard is still confined in his damascus palace and NOT assasinated is because anti-islamic bigots like putin supported him and Israel and the west came to an understanding with russia to uphold the status quo. Syria will be divided into spheres of influence - major chunk going to Russia. Israel will get to keep Golan hights and more while Anti-islamic Republic of Iran and their Hezbsaytan partners will have a corridor to Lebanon and the Mediterranean.
Yes Assad is not a Hitler. Hitler Germany was military and technology power. Assad has neither. The irony is while you call Assad "Hitler" you are openly a prejudice bigot.
If Assad stepped down in 2011 there would not be 12 million refugees and over 1.3 million dead (demographic loss).Even if Assad stepped down it would change nothing, there are dozens of factions in Syria such as Kurds, FSA, Nusra, ISIS, etc that are fighting for land.
Welcome to Zionists camp idiot bogus Jihadist! What sort of victory is this I wonder? That awalite bastard is the modern hitler of our time. Here the facts:More than 70% of Syrian wanted him to stay it why he must step down and handed Syria over to moderate and extreme beheader ?
Fact is they held election but the moderate and extreme beheader and cannibals boycut it and said they fear to compete against Bashar AsadHere the facts:
1) Last free elections in Syria were in 1963. Baath terrorists got only 12% of Parliament seats.
2) Since Baath coup they never ran any elections because they FEAR of people.
3) There are over 5 million Syrian men ready for battle service. But hardly 1% of them want to fight for Assad thats why he is forced to import sectarian thugs and mercenaries from all over the world. Even wast majority of Alawis dont want to fight for Assad.
