Asia's F-35 buyers forced to wait as China seeks edge

U accepted it wow... great !

As long as the foetus can't survive outside the womb, it's just a lump of cells.

But what I think is more worrisome is that you had nothing to say about the living or rather dying condition of millions of Indian children.

All i'm trying to do is to have you stop lecturing to us.
These are YOUR words, buddy...

All that the American weapons systems have proven so far over the past 20+ years of endless wars is that they are invulnerable to 1960's and 70's made Soviet weapons systems that on top of that are downgraded export models.
It is doubtful that that those exported weapons are downgraded anyway, but downgraded or not, those are both Soviet and CHINESE weapons. When people saw how spectacular they failed against US weapons, and they will note that Soviet and Chinese advisers were there at the sales and for the training, they will wonder how will the Soviets and the Chinese will fare against the Americans.

So my advice to you is to stop focusing on US but look deeply into your China.

No other country in the world has attacked so many other countries as America did. So you tell me what the reasons are that America needs to attack another country every 3 or 4 years.
Sure, somebody always wanted to tick US off...Or they failed to pay US tributes: oil and women, and oily women...

That's because America still has a much higher living standard than most other countries in the world today. Most people go to America for economic reasons and not much else.
So what? You think economics do not matter anywhere else? If anything, your fellow Chinese have economics foremost in their minds and uses US as example on how to get rich.

But...

'Maternity hotel' for Chinese women to give birth to U.S. citizens is 'found in the back of California motel'

...sign up for 'birth tourism' packages in two of its secluded buildings - at a cost of $20,000 for the service

The practice is popular with Chinese women who travel to the U.S. on tourist visas in order to give birth to children who automatically become American citizens.
Are there pregnant American women swarming over to China just so their children can claim Chinese citizenship? Is Chinese citizenship not good enough for these Chinese mothers? May be you guys should put more bling on Mao's tomb...

2nd Korean-American Captain of US Aegis Ship Named
Cmdr. Jeffrey J. Kim's inauguration was held March 28 at the South Korean Navy's operations command in Busan. Kim, who was made captain of the USS John S. McCain, is the second Korean-American naval officer to skipper an Aegis-equipped destroyer, after Cmdr. Choi Hee-dong, captain of the USS Chafee.

USS Chung-Hoon (DDG 93) history
The Chung-Hoon (DDG 93) is the U.S. Navy's 43rd Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer and was named in honor of Rear Adm. Gordon P. Chung-Hoon (1910-1979), a recipient of the Navy Cross and Silver Star for conspicuous gallantry and extraordinary heroism as commanding officer for USS Sigsbee (DD 502) from May 1944 through October 1945. In the spring of 1945, Sigsbee assisted in the destruction of 20 enemy planes while screening a carrier strike force off the Japanese island of Kyushu. On April 14, 1945, while on radar picket station off Okinawa, a kamikaze crashed into Sigsbee, reducing her starboard engine to five knots and knocking out the ship's port engine and steering control. Despite the damage, Chung-Hoon valiantly kept his anti-aircraft batteries delivering prolonged and effective fire against the continuing enemy air attack, while simultaneously directing damage control efforts. His leadership helped Sigsbee to make it to port under her own power.
What make US attractive is far more than just economics. When people think of China, political freedoms are hardly on their minds. But when they think of US, not only does Disneyland, Hollywood, fast foods, fast cars, and fast money are on their minds, but also the promise of a better life under a political system that is far better than what they have.

Two Korean-Americans commanders are captains of the US Navy's Aegis ships. A similarly advanced ship is named after a Chinese-American. We do not see a PLAN ship named after a white guy, do we?

Once America's economy and currency collapses then that trend will end or even go into reverse.
You will never see that 'once'. Neither will your children nor grandchildren nor your great grandchildren.

Still doesn't take away my point that the US military systems have only proven them selfs against outdated Soviet tech on the battlefield. And not only are those weapons that the Americans faced in war outdated and downgraded but they are often manned by incompetent operators as well.

And not downgraded ?

The world does not care if China sold downgraded weapons systems or not. If perception is reality, as the old saying goes, then the reality is that Chinese weapons and doctrines -- sucks.

And you speak as if we do not know the quality of real Soviet weapons systems. When the Soviet empire broke up, many former Soviet satellites became instant owners of real Soviet front line weapons systems, from tanks to fighter aircrafts to whole ICBMs and even refined uranium chunks. They were starving for cash to keep up their economies for recovery from the lack of Soviet aid. They called US: 'Uncle Sam, wanna go shopping?' So we did and our shopping cart was the C-5 Galaxy. A whole fleet of them painted black with no markings and flew mostly at night. We took them to Area 52, Area 51 is a tourist trap, and tested them to our heart's content. We developed new defenses against them. We projected what Russian and Chinese technology would be and developed defenses against those projections as well. We got this sh1t down better than anyone.

Lost for words to give reason/justification/defence of American aggression ?
Not lost. Just lazy. Like you are too lazy to look up the reasons for those conflicts.

Look at your own China. I heard that there is a real estate crisis going...

Gambit likes to avoid giving any valid reasons whenever he can't back up any further. Bragging how the mighty US won so many wars these past decades with loads of valuable information gathered called experience which China lacks. When Cheney told the Georgians of US military aid, the Americans crawled back into their caves as the Russians rolled their tanks into Georgia. Looks like the killing shepherds experience and the highly US military equipments aren't enough to face the outdated Russian toys or the Americans are just cowards when they face a powerful opponent.

Just for the sake of argument that they are not downgraded weapons that Americans have faced in those wars over the past 20+ years. That still means the US has been fighting against outdated Soviet weapons with incompetent operators. If that makes you feel better. That doesn't really take away my point that American weapons systems haven't proven themselves in a modern battlefield against a decent opponent. The Americans has only fought nations with no air force or navy to speak of and no space assets or modern missile's. The only thing that Americans have shown so far is that their planes can evade a few 40+ year old air defense systems.

Not lost. Just lazy. Like you are too lazy to look up the reasons for those conflicts.

The reason for all those conflicts that Americans are involved in is because the Americans think they have some god given right to meddle in everyone's else business. Americans think that they know what's best for everyone else. And if some one won't listen they just kill. That's Americans anwser to everything just kill. On a personal level (gun violence in society) or on a political level (wars abroad). The average American is either clueless about the suffering they bring to others in the world or they are simply proud that they can "kick ***". In other words total lack of empathy for others or lack of intelligence to understand what they are doing to others. Proof me wrong.

Typical American answer always know best about other people's problems but clueless about you're own. Is that you're best defense of the all mighty American economy that you say that my great, great, great grand children's won't see fall ?

Only one out of over 800 sorties?

Please...So far all Iran have done is make claims about 'hacking'...

about Serbia , It seems they could see f-117 even better than f-16 and f-18 if you look at that war you see it was very rare occasion that their air defense fired back and it was mainly 3rd Battalion of the 250th Air Defense Missile Brigade . it seems the rest of Serbia air-defense was offline .

in that war NATO Lost 42 UAV , 1 F-16 , 2 A-10 ,and one f-117 to enemy fire , interestingly another f-117 also damaged but managed to go back to their base but never fly again . . so statistically compared to the rest of the aircraft used this airplane didn't fare very well .

about Iran and RQ-170 , well the people who mattered claimed they landed that plan with Electronic warfare that can be hacking or GPS spoofing or ...
Western media claimed about GPS Spoofing and some of them talked about Viruses and crash and Iran media talked about hacking and Spoofing .
well a PM in iran also claim we used a tractor beam to land that plane

Chinese technological advancements are sending sending shivers to the western world, especially to the disgruntled allies........:azn: what a bunch of deluded misfits with US spearheading the command, did they really believe that while they leap forwards, others would be sitting idle? :woot:

Actually, your arguments over weapons so far are to make YOU and your fellow Chinese feel better. The US military have a history of not giving a hoot on what other countries think of US. Call US incompetent, stupid, or whatever. We will always give our most sagely look, nod our heads, and agree with every criticisms. All to make those who were too chickensh1t to fight feel better about themselves.

And yet when there is a disaster somewhere, no one cried out for China...

Every victim expects American to give and give for free. The cry is: 'Where is America?!?!'. Not 'Where is China?'.

No, but that is what was appropriate considering how you would rather simply a complex subject like economics down to mere meaningless rhetoric.

Hi gambit
Indeed Chinese are in the step to see their weapons used in conflict. For exemple seeing their manpad in Syria satisfy them.
We have some stories about manpad in Syria ... how it came there. Anyway they really need to test their weapons in a conflict to improve.

And as you say, no country would cry for China intervention... their tech is still very low compared to yours.
I don't see any expert saying opposite.

If American weapons are so good and the American military are so great then why can't you defeat the Taliban, a rag tag militia on flip flops eh ? And if the US with all its military might can't win in Iraq or Afghanistan what else do you call it but incompetent and stupid. Other countries are smart enough to settle their differences without going to war over it every 3 or 4 years. Going to war with others at a drop of a hat is the most despicable and stupidest thing one can do.

You only want to hear one side of the story. But you refuse to see the disasters that America is creating around the world today like Iraq just as one example. Why can't you hear the cries of the victims of America aggression like Iraqi's, Iranians and Afghans today ? America today is causing more disasters around the world than it helps to resolve rather it economic or humanitarian.

No, but that is what was appropriate considering how you would rather simply a complex subject like economics down to mere meaningless rhetoric.

You're good at math aren't you, so do the math. A 16,5 trillion dollar economy with 16,7 trillion dollar national debt and 123 trillion dollars unfunded liabilities and a trillion dollar a year deficit. With a GDP growing at around 2% a year. While keeping interest rate at zero and print trillions of dollar out of thin air with QE. If you think that's sustanible than that's you're problem.
