ISLAMABAD: Afghan President Ashraf Ghani felicitated Peshawar Zalmi on winning the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2017 and invited the team for a visit to Kabul.
Peshawar Zalmi’s owner Javed Afridi has said that Adviser to President Ashraf Ghani on Foreign Affairs Hikmat Khalil Karzai telephoned him and extended felicitations on behalf of the president.

He said that all the players of Peshawar Zalmi would honor the invitation of Afghan President Ashraf Ghani next year.
It is pertinent to mention here that Javed Afridi in a video statement had thanked Afghanistan for supporting his team in PSL.

Instead Afghan ambassador to Pakistan represented his country in the meeting that was attended by 15 high level delegations. Earlier this silly dude followed the disgraced Hindu terrorist Modi to sabotage SAARC summit that was to be held in Islamabad. Even though Pakistan was the first country to welcome Afghanistan into SAARC. And Look at these ungrateful Afghans. They followed our cheap enemy to sabotage the summit. We have no qualms against Nepal, Bhutan, and BD. Those countries are second-class community members in the region because they have borders with India. But Afghanistan is not non-entity like those worthless minnows of South Asia. And we have done so many favors to these Afghani people. Even their cricket team was ‘built’ by Pakistanis.
