Tactical Area Communications System to be established in Azerbaijani Armed Forces

The establishment of TASMUS network will enhance the operation capability of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces

Abu Dhabi. Rashad Suleymanov, Shamil Alibeyli - APA. Preparations are underway to establish in Azerbaijani Armed Forces Tactical Area Communications System (TASMUS) that exists in the Turkish Armed Forces, officials of Turkeys ASELSAN company participating in IDEX-2013 International Defense Exhibition told APA exclusively.

ASELSAN officials said relevant measures have been taken, program has been developed and is to be confirmed. Azerbaijani servicemen familiarized themselves with TASMUS in Turkish Armed Forces. The company officials said the establishment of TASMUS network will enhance the operation capability of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.

Compliance between the communication and combat management systems of the Azerbaijani and Turkish Armed Forces will be ensured. This will enable joint operations in the future.
