As PML-N eyeing power, internal rift deepens

People are talking shit as if PML even have the support left:::..

When leaders ran away leaving supporters behind, with all the corruption and money looted coming forward other than donkey meat eaters PML also knows they have no votes left for new elections..... all they can hope for is to black mail present set up by their proxies..... so let them try.

IK doesn’t like black mailing and throwing away money to keep allies happy.... all the fight is over the development funds also known as “khao aur urao money”...

How do you know what I am thinking?

Marshal law will come due to political crisis. Hope it comes for 30 years to fix the broken system. First Judiciary system should be fixed then political system by giving most power to districts with strong local body system.

Perhaps I assumed incorrectly if you agree. But I disagree with your perception of martial law. It provides momentary stability but it has always made Pakistan worse and weakened the republic and its people at every turn. Martial law and traitor generals are a curse.

If Imran then refuses to go quietly and used his own political power and what remains of PTI to fight the opposition, then we’ll have a political crisis. And if for whatever reason the establishment decides that it’s time for him to go and he fights... then martial law.

I am of the view that if Establishment decides to remove IK and PTI, they can be removed, without any difficulty. They are not in a position to fight back.

Desi siasat is more entertaining than anything on TV, I must say. Let's see how it goes, I think, every Pakistani knows the political life of our parties.

I agree mostly, but if anyone can pose an obstacle it’s probably IK. Then again, it might only take them 6-8 months to thoroughly destroy his reputation so that he has less fight.

Establishment of Pakistan is playing their dubious games and it is close to impossible for them to refrain from it.

There's also an issue with Imran Khan's inflexibility. If he's a bit prudent he'll do muk mukka with PPP, so that Estb doesn't blackmail him. However incompetent PPP is, they will not betray PTI because they've themselves suffered the most at hands of Nawaz+Estb. games. Plus they don't want the system to fall.

PML-N is an establishment party which is dead when not in government.

I am taking about Marshal LawPLUS plan.
Musharraf was useless, whatever he did was temporary. We need permanent solution, not patching the current system like previous governments.

For example, Plea bargain should be for recovery of stolen money and including minimum of 5 years of Prison sentence.

Democracy is the best way to reduce the political power of a ruling elite (and also thereby reducing their economic hegemony), and it is by far the best system for redistributing wealth and power to the people. Military rule has never worked in Pakistan and it never will. This country needs to run on consensus, and it’s strength is its people, not the strength of any politician or misguided general. Besides, the damage inflicted by previous military rule, from Ayub to Musharraf, has been disastrous and despicable. Surely you can’t want to try this experiment again?

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) has given the government one week to meet its demands after which it will chalk out its course of action. The deadline was given in a meeting of government team, comprising Jehangir Tareen and Defence Minister Pervez Khattak, with the PML-Q representatives on Wednesday.

Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, chief secretary and IGP Punjab also attended the meeting. The PML-Q was represented by Minister for Housing and Works Tariq Bashir Cheema, Chaudhry Moonis Elahi, Salik Hussain and Hussain Elahi.

Inside story reveals that an agreement signed between the two parties after 2018 general election came under discussion. Sources said Moonis Elahi suggested that the written agreement should also be shown to the chief secretary and IG Punjab.

Under the agreement, the posting and transfers of officials in the PML-Q constituencies had to be made in consultation with the PML-Q but this clause was not being implemented. The PML-Q also demanded transfer of powers to its ministers and a direction to the bureaucracy to follow and implement their directives.

The PML-Q’s third demand was provision of development funds to its legislators. The Q-leaders made it clear to the government team that they were giving them one week for implementing the agreement failing which they would take their future line of action.

The Q-team also communicated a message of PML-N President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and the Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervez Elahi to the government that Moonis Elahi was not interested in becoming a minister or chief minister.

It will be wise for PM IK to deslove the assembly because he is only facing stiff resistance from the corrupt & treacherous. As far as PM IK's team goes, no matter which party those corrupt jabronis join, they will always be corrupt. MQM, GDI, BNP, PMLQ and etc are full of corrupt & treacherous jabronis. PMIK knows it very well, so a point will come in my opinion when he will deslove the assembly.

Well said, its a shame some people are not willing to give few years to PTI led government despite its flaws, but would be happy to see the corrupt kings of status quo come back to power and carry on with loot, loot and plunder, God forbid if these two Corrupt Godfather league and Pee Pee Pee parties come back in power then its surely bye bye Pakistan.

Pakistani public needs to be patient and give pti full 5 years. Let them make the changes they promised although we are still waiting for reforms in the election system, government system, police Judiciary, hospitals, education. They haven't really done much in terms of reforms and making the country stronger by updating the system. This is what naya Pakistan was about. They should immediately open model hospitals, police stations, high courts, college, university in all major cities of Pakistan. Retrain the police force or even bring in the rangers until they find new young police officers, train them with the rangers and army. These things are possible if only the government is willing to stand its ground as the corrupt people will challenge you.

Positivity is they are trying to improve the economy and hopefully that will improve soon. The inflation will need to come down very soon.

I doubt the establishment will work to remove pti. I think they will complete the full 5 years and then the next election will be between pml n and pti.
