Iran is a friendly country. Issues between India and Iran, where they exist are minor. We look forward to doing more business with Iran in the near future. So what you see in the votes is more optimism than realism.

We are pro anything that benefits us ...across party lines. You will not see a Congress or BJP fellow fighting externally. They are sworn enemies, but then its the thing like....brothers fight at home with everything they have, but, when a third fellow comes in to enjoy the fun, they both will first hammer him together

Iran (energy) and US(technology) are the two most important partners of India. So we are desperately waiting for the sanctions to end.
