her books are good ...but offlate she is compeltely anti india...if today mohammad yunus says bangladesh shud be slaves of usa bla bla bla wyud u like it?????????????

I dont know what she means by "vast" parts of india but i am from a village not a big city....over the last 10yrs there has been a vast change in the rural side......I am not blaming AR.... its understandable that she doesnt have any idea about the change that has swept rural india cause unlike me she doesnt live in a indian village....what is this civil war business she is talking about? does this "civil war" include tamil nadu?

If she cares so much about poor people in india then she should start speaking against evil american corporations like MONSANTO that has claimed the lives of more than 100000 farmers.....come on arundhathi roy take on monsanto for the sake of the poor in india.....we will see what happens to AR after that

Its not being anti-india, her views are in line with political Islam so muslims might like her. This is how one can relate religious philosophies with modern politcal philosophies.

Islam -> Anarchism
Protestant Christianity -> Between Marxism and socialism.
Roman Catholicism -> Socialism.
Hinduism -> Capitalism with borderline socialism
Buddhism -> Socialism with borderline capitalism
