You were born in 89-90. What do you know about Karachi situation from 88 to right before 92 Operation ? What do you know about MQM-Sindhi gangs involvement in target killing, kidnappings, extortions and what not. Were you living and breathing in those times ? @Meengla Were you in karachi in those turbulent times of 89-92 ?

It perplexes me to see average mentality of MQM supporter and their rona dhona on 92 Operation but not acknowledging what were they doing before the Op

MQM was dying its own death back in 1992. There was Organization Crisis, Altaf Escaped to London and people were leaving MQM's side and finding another alternative but this operation brought back MQM to life once again. There is no iota of doubt that operation was discriminatory and innocent people did lost their lives in large number and this cause MQM to clean sweep all their seats they were contesting in 1993 Elections. Even you would get confirmation by every fifth person you met in MQM dominated areas if you dont know yourself.

The problem here is same as well and as MQM facing same kinds of Problem that they were facing in 1990s and people are looking at others it is better leave them be till they die their own death but this whole Operation and Dramas after those operation has been creating a sympathy just like what they used in 1993 Elections. No one has given our agencies rights to change People's mandate and this should be cleared here and it is people who would decide when they want change rather then Agencies decide for them. People have no issue if agencies are catching Criminals inside but Saulat Mirza Drama and other Dramas are not helping the case here and is making things more complicated which would Benefit MQM in the end.

In a celebrated incident he was instrumental in organising a handover of 'prisoners of war' between ethnic extremist groups. His experience in Sind stood him in good stead when the government asked the army to take over law and order in Sind last year for a six-month period. Over the past few days there has been intense politicking in Islamabad between the army and the government as to whether the army would continue its role in the province.

dude after 92 , lots of Urdu speaking boys were too afraid , that they remain hidden for months and even years , Police were grabbing people in indiscriminately , my father witness that Police capture boys wearing Jeans and shirts from Universities , many been tortured , My father say that 92 Operation has the worse time he ever seen in his life time ... there were violence from both side , but between the clash of Establishment and MQM , a innocent Urdu speaker just suffer ..

it takes many years for people to forget that operation , and now some people are wishing that again , so pathetic, just because they hate Altaf Hussain doesn't mean they should wish for a bloody Operation which will eventually hurt Pakistan .

My father has witnessed the operation himself. One of my relatives from Punjabi side of family were stationed in Karachi(they were in Army). They told my dad that Army were taking any random Urdu Speaking men, torturing them and dumping their bodies all over Karachi. People won't believe me because most of them sitting outside Karachi and chatting non sense.

It was supposed to be a operation against criminals, Why did Army, Agencies and Police target random civilians? Was it part of terrorising the local population? Even Israel doesn't randomly pick Palestinians and dump their bodies.

As revenge MQM killed all of the Police officers who took part in the 92 operation. Many soldiers went missing, I wonder how many poor Soldiers were killed all because of retard fat idiots sitting in air conditioned offices in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
