Army Chief witnessed firing of FM -90 air defence missile sys

If Persian Gulf war is any clue this could be used against all types of Indian aircrafts. MANPADS shot down F-16s, A-10s, AV-8s even though they are fast(not A-10), high altitude fighters.
high altitude jet can't be shot down by MANPADS, MANPADS are low altitude system bro

6 Type-041 Subs, means 2 will be different. may be with VLS @Zarvan

Then that F-16 and other jets that would be downed were at low altitudes
6000 meters is good enough that it should be able to shoot down Indian aircraft. You have to remember they will be trying to avoid LY-80 by flying low either way.

Air Defence system
Heli
Frigates
Destroyers
subs
IFV

we need many many things
1- working HQ16 then eventually we will get HQ-9
2-evolution, under considerations
3- on order, 4 Type-54A
4- when our economy will improve
5- 8 on order, first type 41 sub will delivered on 2021
6- there are lots of in house development of IFV

most MANPADS have a altitude of 3000 meters ( 10,000 feet) but some have higher altitude like our Anza-3 with a altitudes of 3500-4000 meter (15,000 feet) above that altitude LY-80 and SAPADA-2000 will take care of indian jets

I would love to know about Range and guidance system (active or passive) and kills (if any).
Semi active

So then what is the point of FM-90 whatsoever?

It is command guidance via the small radar dish.

Have you ever heard the term LAYERED DEFENSE and Anza and other MANPADS in PA carried by soldiers, and there is chances that these soldiers could be shot down or get killed

I am talking about guidness seeker head in Missiles, in fact all modern SAMs using radars to guides their missiles to the targets

FM-90 is also used for static base defense in PLA strategy 10 years back but don't think they are in service now.

No, that not a Mig-25 but was a Mig-21, Mig-25 was basically a spy jet with limited to no air to ground capability
Mig-27*

We have FM-90 for a Back up system and HQ-16 recently included and these are not enough number of HQ-16/LY-80 in PA, first we could fire FM-90 for downing enemy jet if FM-90 misses than we would fire more expensive LY-80, and FM-90 has lot version for export includes to fit this SAMs on IFVs
