I have personally seen from the Pakistan side, the Pashtun and Baloch guys here are pretty cool with us. Coz they do not have the same civilizational baggage the Punjabi and Sindhi guys from their side do.

Just want to note that not all Madrassas are bad. A friend of mine studied for 4 years in one and now is in the CRPF. Not bad, considering the fact that he is from a very humble background.

You forget that we have around 200 million muslims living amongst us. Unlike you, for whom a living Hindu would probably be something of a novelty in college or the workplace.

According to me I have more in common with an educated, secular and liberal Indian than a conservative right-wing Pakistani (including the paindus).

It is difficult to pin-point this thing I am trying to pin-point...ummm...class (as in classy, no caste) I suppose. I like classy people. Progressives and professionals too. Pakistan severely lacks such people (I have traveled the world)....I can not stress enough on severe. The amount of paindus in Pakistan is just too damn high !!
