My business partner is a Hindu himself, we get along just fine. Besides I live in NYC and frequently travel between many other cities which have large Indian Hindu populations, so I have come across plenty of Hindus. In fact the only Hindus I ever have problems with are those online, who are undoubtedly internet hindutvas.

According to me I have more in common with an educated, secular and liberal Indian than a conservative right-wing Pakistani (including the paindus), which gives me another idea.

It is difficult to pin-point this thing I am trying to pin-point...ummm...class (as in classy, no caste) I suppose. I like classy people. Progressives too. Than there is the fact that half of Pakistan literally have nothing to do with India period, the Baluch and the Pakhtuns that make up the Western portions of Pakistan never were and never will be "Indian". Even if Pakistanis were to say oh yeah we are Indian it would not apply for nearly half the country. So at most Pakistanis can and should say we are an ethnic Indo-Iranic nation but Pakistanis first and foremost.
