Actually this is a misunderstanding. The Akhand Bharatis are the far right. They want to establish it NOT with Muslim Hindu love, but with Hindu might. They have been defeated. Hindutva accepts that you are different NOW, on account of your faith. Ultra Seculars in India want a United India. Hindutvas don't.

Perhaps a lot of people here might disagree with me...I honestly don't care as it is only my opinion.

Pakistani Identity = Anti-India, that's it. There is no solid foundation for Pakistan...even if there was it was lost/hijacked or changed somewhere in the beginning.

Pakistan is basically a sea of people, and really fcuked up people (generally speaking)...that's it.

PS: Pakistan could have molded a distinct identity based on Pakistani nationalism, something which Ayub or Musharraf tried but failed...because the people of this country just suck (generally).

Anyways these are my opinions based on my understanding.

First, let's see what I as a Kashmiri have in common with a Tamil. On the face of it, we are different but dig deeper and we see -
We both have lots of rice.
We love cricket.
We vote corrupt leaders.
We worship the same Gods(Hindus)..only the names of the Gods are different.
Unity in Diversity.

Can I find differences? Yes, of course we can. But we find it more worthwhile to look at our vast similarities than superficial differences.

Pakistan on the other hand has made the conscious decision to focus on the differences than on the similarities. And they have every right to.

We are as similar as Palestine and Israel.

No. People have come to terms. RSS is the biggest organization in the world. If they wanted they would have. Only ultra secular/liberals and Aman ki Asha folks believe that.

I have personally seen from the Pakistan side, the Pashtun and Baloch guys here are pretty cool with us. Coz they do not have the same civilizational baggage the Punjabi and Sindhi guys from their side do.

Just my personal observation. I like categorizing people along racial lines. And Pakistan is currently cleaved right down the middle on that score. As they themselves realize. A fault line as strong as that between their Sunni and Shia divide. A fault line neither faith nor language can bridge. As it could not in 71.
