What is the person taking fire is not having that assault rifle? Not advocating for every member of the team to have a sniper rifle,but a gun with higher accuracy with a bit of range is always better,one of the main reasons that Special forces around the World are replacing the Uzi.

Why dont you give us some statistics about this gun? How does it fare better than the other guns in the category?

The picture that you post is of Russian Army regulars fighting in Chechnya and not commandos geared up for CQB.Thats why they are all carrying assault rifles.

Listen, people have been using non-bullpop submachine guns for years and still do.

Yeah the UZI isnt around, but the MP7, MP5, UMP, etc sure as hell are.

among MP5,MP7 and UMP,MP7 is considered to be the best and it allows the magazine to be chambered within the pistol-grip,behind the trigger thus allowing the gun to have more space to accomodate a longer barrel,making the shorter and still a barrel long enough to accurately place shots.
Thats one lesson the H&K guys took from MP5 among many.A bullpup design will help to make the gun further shorter.

The MP7's barrel is shorter than the MP5s.

Barrel length is 300m. Compared to MP5s 225 mm, and MP7s 180 mm. I hope that makes you happy.

This things barrel is already unusually long.
