UDHAGAMANDALAM: Former President A P J Abdul Kalam today lauded ISRO's scientists for successfully launching the PSLV-C9 to put 10 satellites in orbit.

Besides, the Chandrayaan-I unmanned moon mission by the year end would add another feather in the country's space programme, Kalam, here to participate in a school function, said.

India has become very advanced in space technology, he said, adding the country would become a superpower by 2012.

"Though I have envisioned India to become a superpower by 2020, the attitude and the confidence of the youth, to conquer everything in the right spirit, would make the country a global leader and super power within five years," Kalam told reporters.

Having visited the Gulf I can assure the Gulf Arabs are the biggest scums in the region the mistreat anyone thats not them, they are the ones who push sectarian crap, racism toward even the Arabs from poorer countries, and they think by building skyscrapers and click bait tourism they are modern and we are shit to them or "Baki".I never been to Iran but I have met many Iranians in the past they are generally respectful to Pakistan and Pakistanis, and I have relatives who live in the UK who have done multiple road trips from UK to Pakistan via Iran and none had any issues in Iran in fact they were very helpful heck they did not even pay tolls to use the highways there and even one border town near Pak they got free place to crash, anyways I wish there was more cultural exchanges between the both neighbors we have more lot of things in common with Iran, Language Urdu uses the Perso-Arabic script, a lot of words are the same, cuisine and etc.I do think the Gulf Arabs are scared if more exchanges happen their infuence in Pakistani politics will dimminsh
Some Gulf Arabs are arrogant. Some of them are reasonable people. Good and bad everywhere.

When we were nice and diplomatic to the americans, it ruined us, point blank. So screw them!!!!!!!!!!!!..........in fact antagonize and be rude to them galore, as Dr Henry Kissinger once said, "You are better off being america's enemy than friend" or words to that effect:

https://www.barrypopik.com/index.ph...cas_enemy_but_to_be_americas_friend_is_fatal/

american can go f**k itself

The only thing worse then being an enemy of America is being their ally!

till the time we fear US and act according to their wishes we cant even hope of making any real progress. US will keep us threatening with economic sanctions and military might but i think its time for us to take some tough decisions. situation will become difficult but it will improve if we stay steadfast and ignore the fools who always take US as their god.

Not happening. NO nation on earth can invade and conquer Pakistan WITHOUT suffering unacceptable, terminal damage. America's wars in Iraq and afghanistan have proved this. It's also the reason why india cannot attack Pakistan despite being more than 7x bigger than us and having abundant access to the world's most advanced weapons whist we are denied this privilege.

Are you are so an indian so called "Muslim"?

Why are these arabs so obsessed with writing news article about who and why Pakistan has relation with? They're acting like Pakistan should be subservient to them or something. Pakistan should have relations with all nations it seems fit and these tossers should mind their own business.

If the leaders of Pakistan Iran and Turkey have any sense they'll stand together and face off America together. Qatar is an ally too and we could expect support from Russia and China.

The question should be wether America can afford to mess with us. Together we are very strong.

Question are you refering to Tajiks in Afg or Tajikstan
Tajiks of Afghanistan. The Tajikistani's are cool. No problem with them. What most people don't know is the seeds of the present Afghan hostility was laid in 1980s jihad in that country. The jihadis who fought against Soviet Union were not a monolith entity although the world called them "mujihadeen". The reality was more compex. The jihadi groups were split along ethnic [read Pashtun, Tajik, Hazara, Uzbek, Turkmen] and sectarian lines [read Sunni/Shia]. Pakistan of course naturally tended to favour Pashtun groups.

To cut a long story short. Post Soviet withdrawel the jihadis groups turned against each other. Actually it was a power grab by each ethnic group. Over time Pashtun groups saw a process of distilation and out of which morphed the Taliban. The Tajiks under Shah Masood banded with others like Uzbeks to form the Northern Alliance [NA] - but it's core remained Panjsheri Tajiks. As Taliban and NA fought it out India supported NA and Pakistan of course supported Taliban. There were other external/internal actors but for simplicity I am overlooking that and just focussed on the Pak/India tussle.

In the 1990s this tussle between India [NA] and Pakistan [Taliban] culminated in a victory for Pakistan when Taliban came out on top and captured Kabul sending the Panjshiri Tajiks of NA hiding in the mountains. Taliban were no angels but for Pakistan the alternative was the India supported Panjshiri Tajiks of NA. However after 9/11 things took a bad turn for Pakistan. Musharaf instead of negotiating hard and making sure Pakistan's interests in Kabul were guarded - which was simply "no fcukin way are Panjsheri Tajiks of NA going to take Kabul over" jumpe up in the air and landed with his open a*ss to Americans. All they had to say were the magic words "stone age". The result was Pakistan gave it's airspace, land routes, ports, military logistic bases to USA for it to invade Afghanistan, remove the pro Pakistan Taliban and install the pro India Panjsheri Tajiks of NA in Kabul.

The NA overnight changed into Afghan Army uniforms and formed most of the new government. Of course they took in a few Pashtuns to cover up the reality. Overnight Kabul became a "no go area for Pakistan". And since that date we have had India nicely ensconced in Kabul with the new Afghan set up who were their buddies the Panjsheri Tajiks. That is where we are today in 2018.

Pakistan has to squeeze out India out of Afghanistan and the only way is through Taliban. Kicking USA out is also a must. But then kicking USA out will mean kicking Indians out as well. To do this though we need all the neighbours - Iran, Russia and China. The Chinese are not happy with US/India in Afghanistan as that is a threat to CPEC. The Russians feel their orbit of influence in Central Asia being under threat.

So the region badly needs to align itself to move forward. And we must keep in mind Saudia Arabia is a solid ally of USA and only second to Israel in the American network of allies in the region.

Thanks. The so called Afghan government is just the thinly disguised India loving Panjshri Tajiks who until 2001 were hiding in Panjshir valley. Then American came helped by Pakistan and after Taliban were defeated these Indian lovers came running to take over Kabul. Ever since they have been ruling with a thin fig leaf of a Pashtun President.
