Arab descriptions of early medieval South Asia

Nobody is giving any certificate but if u come out of yr bharat matta then u will know not many people universally believe it as Word of God even the educated hindus also dont follow it anymore.

We r proud of this language called Urdu because of this very reason that it is a mixture of many local languages n it binds people in it. It represents every language, race, cultures n plays a part of a bridge b/w them for communication n its no where close to being dead and for yr info it is now 4th biggest language spoken n understood worldwide.

Now what about Sanskrit?
Tell me any country who has it as its national language?
Even Indian prefer hindi.
And how many in the world speak n understand this language?
Close of none or maybe 0.5-0.1%.

so,whats your point?

Sanskrit is present in every single state language of India.

The National language of India Hindi is largely derived from this language,it is just a sophisticated version of Prakrit.

Hindi is synonymous with Sanskrit,

1/6=16% of the world's population speak this language in one form or the other.

You should not justify why you are proud of your own language, there is no need to,

Thats where you fail.

Let those people not believe in it being the word of god,let them not believe in god, believe in anything, what difference does it make,

since when did majority's beliefs alone decide what is right or wrong?

Then why you guys are not all talking in punjabi instead of Urdu.

sanskrit words survive in most languages, even the satyanaas that you guys use in punjab is also sanskrit.

But Urdu belongs to banya Bharat ophs South east asian sub continent of Bahart.
How do you expect a country to exist who does not have a language of it's own but stolen from others :omghaha:

Any way it's :offpost:

let's discuss about greatness of India and what Arab has said / wrote about her greatness

ya ya blah blah blah........as if ur mom n dad were enjoying vacation and u were busy naming urself immediately after birth.
who gave our name isnt ur concern. if u can make out such BS reason to troll then it speaks volumes about ur education.
talking about names, to outsiders (esp. the illegal children of arabs/turks), india is known as such, but to us sons of soil, she is known as "bharat", "aryavart" among other to distinguish itself from the rest of the pack.
njoy ur bournvita n have a good day.
After reading this line i laughed hard.

Again let me repeat.
How funny is that By mere stating facts that dont go down your throat, then i become in yr case a troll n my level of education becomes low:omghaha:

Nice.

Anyways yr own claims r not accepted universally because as unlike in yr country the claim only become a universally accepted as facts when they get proved by looking into them from different angels.

This is just a Theory/hypothesis that yr mentioning.

HAHAHA Kiddo This language was introduced by Muslims when they first came here for communication.

We in our Country own Muslim Tehzeeb of SA.

This is Why it was given honor of being National language of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Most old talks about Arabia/Iraq comes from Maritime trade between South India & Mesopotamia and onto Rome Via Istanbul.

.....

who were the main Indian authors/historians who wrote what you just mentioned

Thanks

ps

Please do not let this thread be dragged down to Hindu-religion stuff. That's the only way to avoid thread cr@ppers.

But Urdu belongs to banya Bharat ...k:

That's a Mohajir propaganda and you got it hook line and sinker.

Urdu was the language of Mughal and then British troops that were mostly drawn from Punjab and teeny bits from other parts of the Indian subcontinent.

thus Urdu really is a dialect of Punjabi that has vocabulary from other regional languages from where troops were hired.

Certain regions of the sub continent didn't have traditions of supplying large number of troops such as Sindh, Balochistan, Bengal and perhaps Kerala.

So the vocablary from those states didn't contribute as much as Punjabi.

This my friend was the brief history of how Urdu (means Lashkari or army in Turkic) evolved in Northern states like UP and Bihar.

After 1947 when modern day states of India and Pakistan were formed, language issue or more precisely "national language" issue was brought up by the commies and socialists on both sides of the border.

In India, it was sold as "hindi the language of hindustan or mother INdia or bharat mata)

In Pakistan, Pakistanis and Mohajirs conspired to impose this "urdu" as language of Islamic tehzeeb (hahahah).

See how nationalist and religious sentiments were used abused to impose these languages? see it now?

So your reference to Urdu is kind of misplaced as it is devoid of historical knowledge about how Hindu and Urdu were imposed on hapless Indians and Pakistanis.

Agree with most of yr points generally.

But a little rebuttal.

For point 1.

U said Sanskrit is present in many languages; i agree

But that still does not justify that the mother language is still present n is spoken wordwide.

for point 2.

Then u said language of India being hindi as national language is modernized version of it n its synonymous with sanskrit.
Well i agree again but still this again does not justify that Sanskrit n her actual legacy is alive today??
That we can not dead language?
Even if u take Urdu then in same logic its also has connections with Sanskrit because of it being mixture of many local n foreign languages.

But still that does not justify Sanskrit is not dead.
What is can be said is that as the local languages r part of this region hence their derivation that too few words not completely can be from distorting form of basic sanskrit language.

But again this still npot justify the mother language is alive in its actual form to be called a language being spoken or non Dead one.

For Point 3.

Then u said that there is no need for me to justify why r we proud of our language Urdu then u said because of this i failed:lol:

Answer;

I had mentioned this in post because my good friend bronxbull (that is u) in his post#57 said that ''The language is super alive and is not like Urdu a mish mash mix of everything and nothing''

Source: http://www.defence.pk/forums/milita...arly-medieval-south-asia-4.html#ixzz2VGChnuUA

I merely told u what we feel about it just like mentioned how u feel about it as a ''mish mash of everything and nothing''

If this justifies that because of my answer to this had failed me then yr welcome to believe it in yr own word.

For point 4.

Why r we not speaking in Punjabi but Urdu is because Punjabi is a Regional language not National language of our Country. Like i said it binds people of Pakistan which is a very diverse country with people from different ethnic backgrounds.

GENETIC DIVERSITY IN PAKISTANI POPULATIONS

It is understood n respected in every ethnic group in Pakisatan as it bindings us in one Nation.
We feel proud in this language n own it completely is reason we prefer to speak it.

5. TianZhu: Tianzhu (天竺) Chinese name for ancient India, translates roughly to "heaven center(of)" (i.e. spiritual center); used especially during the Tang dynasty in reference to the Indian origins of Buddhism.

First, Tianzhu (天竺) is simply Hindu or Sindhu, a translation based on pronunciation.

Second, in Chinese 天 = sky or heaven, and 竺 = bamboo. Tianzhu (天竺) is NOT "heaven center(of)" or whatever.

Stop lying please.

Another ancient name of your country in China is: 身毒 Shendu, 身毒 can be translated into "body poison", do you like it? lol

From your post, I wonder how much truth in the so called "Arab descriptions".

LOL, what ever you do to justify but cannot negate the fact that it came from India. How ungrateful a country is, alienating the very people (by calling the Muha jirs) who brought national language with them. :hitwall:

Dude the first person who set fool on this Word was Adam n he was messengers of All Mighty Allah.

Seriously , You believe in this $hit ??:omghaha:

Is that what they teach you in your science textbooks ? Oh I forgot you went to a madarssa where science is not taught ! right ?

If my points n the gist of what i write doesnt go down yr throat well then its yr problem.

This is what wrote.

Science, lets talk about science, Molecular evidence states all humans (unfortunately you MIGHT be included if you are human) originate from a common ancestor....If you want to call your ancestor ape, so be it, we believe he was Adam...

Right on dudet !

My community calls itself "mohajir" in Pakistan.

But when they immigrate to USA, they call themselves american.

Oh the irony.

Ahemmmm ahemmmm!

But Hazrat Adam "evolved" from other species that were in turn created from a "clay" like substance.

Not that I want to get into a behs with an established biologist and scientist..

I hate to get beaten up "intellectually speaking".

Natives of India could never develop a civilization.
We can see the same in sub saharan africa.

India had everything from abundant fertile land to millions of acres of forest. Same with Africa.
Yet they could never achieved equality with the world without another empire controlling it.

Climate & region defines on who you will be.

LOL, what ever you do to justify but cannot negate the fact that it [Urdu] came from India. ....

You have no idea about languages. Do you?

for every language, there are major centers where it evolves .

For Urdu

there were three centers.

1. Delhi
2. Lukhnow
3. Lahore

these 3 cities had active writers and poets in Urdu Long long long long long long before 1947.

So anyone saying Urdu came to Pakistan from India is utterly confused about the difference between

1. Urdu Language
2. urdu speaking immigrant who came to Pakistan

But you won't know.

not because you are ignorant.

but you are arrogant about your ignorance.

Sadly
