No they will not do a ground invasion because there is no need to but they will do an offensive with local forces..

The Houthis were fighting exclusively a Saudi-backed local militias on the Houthis eastern flank meaning Marib, Shabwa and Bayda areas and they were technically slightly pushed back by the Houthis in late 2021 but UAE backed local forces are much larger then the KSA backed lead forces and they are also better armed and more organized..

The UAE had some under the table deals with the Houthis since the Hudayada offensive and ceasefire of sort and majority of the UAE backed forces are located on the red sea cities.

The KSA proxies and the UAE backed forces entered into a unity and UAE's backed forces the Giants brigade was relocated from the red sea to the houthis eastern flank which lead to the houthis being pushed back and losing approx close to 10% of their territories within just a week..

The Houthis had threatened as soon as they saw the Giants Brigade entering the area that this was gonna go bad so they issued threats towards the UAE but once they got pushed back by them more then they had inticipated they desperately caused yesterdays drone attack and this was in order to pressure the UAE to stop the Giants brigade advances because the Houthis are not capable of stopping their offensive just like they weren't in Hudadaya it was the UN that stopped the Giants Brigade and since that offensive was back in 2018 they haven't been in action in the red sea while just sitting there and rearming..

But they have reunited with the saudi lead forces due to alot of political thaw between them and launched an offensive against the Houthis from everywhere along the entire eastern flank.. There are some deluded analysts saying the UAE will hold back the Giants brigade from the Houthis but I don't think they are interested in that and can't be pressured if they make their minds up just like KSA they have never stopped carrying out around 50 airstrike per day or releasing their proxies on the houthis 24 hours a day.. There was a purpose behind why the Giants brigade was released on them and it was never a coincidence..

I always felt there was something of including the Southern transitional forces elements and the KSA lead forces were not on speaking terms for years and these STC who are UAE backed just sit on the sidelines while the houthis and Saudi backed local forces were dugging it out..
