SY-400
SY-400 is a short-range ballistic missile system, first detected in 2008,
The system is believed to be using the RGM-16 or SM-4 technology, and the system is intended for export to the arms market, which is proposed as an alternative to the Iskander-E missiles, and China calls it the "guided artillery missile system", thus the system is not limited to export range limits of 300.. These restrictions were established by the Missile Technology Control Regime with the aim of curbing the proliferation of nuclear missile delivery systems, in particular delivery systems that can carry a minimum of 500 kg for a distance of at least 300 kilometers.
The SY-400 system contains 8 containers with solid-propellant ballistic missiles and machine-made missiles that have been installed in these containers and can be stored for years without requiring additional maintenance.
The missiles are fired vertically and have a range of about 400 km, and can use different types of warheads.
