Enough with the Delhi bashing guys . I know the crime rate is high and stuff but you cant paint all its people with the same colour .

You speak of Delhiites being ignorant , you guys are only showing your ignorance here. I ve lived in Delhi all my life and yes it is more unsafe compared to other major cities in India but at the same time its a beautiful city. Girls Wear mini skirts here without worrying much now and its quite common even at night though not as common as probably bombay. People's attitudes are changing gradually.


Plus the arrogance part is a north indian culture and is not just limited to punjabis , are u telling me Haryanivis and U.P wallahs are less arrogant ? ( The arrogance part is similar to Pakistanis , because we have similar culture)

And its a very green city as well , more beautiful than most other indian cities.

Delhiite here , some respect towards the national capital please!!!

Most of my family members have been to India extensively, even though we only have links to present day India through distant cousins.

My father has travelled throughout India and took me and family to India on a sort of official and personal tour in 2006.

We stayed primarily in Delhi and travelled to places in north west India. It was a good experience, our hotel was good, so was the shopping and the people treated us with a lot of respect.

Delhi was like Lahore but more crowded and sometimes it felt like I was still residing in Pakistan.

Overall it was a good experience and we made plans to go again but this time visit Bombay and other cities but the terror attacks happened and the plans were nixed.

If there are two countries that are so alike that you can feel the similarity then it is India and Pakistan. Delhi was like Delhi Colony in Karachi and the food, the people and environment was as if I had known this place my whole life.

I will visit again in the future, Inshallah.

Btw, I think that there is great potential for tourism between our countries, not only tourism but much more than that however things remain stagnant.

Delhi has changed quite a bit since 2006 with the metro and other stuff thanks to CWG. you should visit again.

lol, I stayed in some godforsaken place on OMR near my office. You gotto travel at least 2 hours to get even decent alcohols.

And the place two close to sun with no winter at all.

And the whole city gets water logged in yearly 10 days constant raining in month of effing November.

And they put curry leaves even in Biriyani and Butter Chicken.
Pondycherry was so so so much better.

I would certainly like to visit Pakistan one day and want to know the other side. However, being an Indian, it would be hard to get a Visa to visit Pakistan….so near yet so far
